2 e# B$ e* V- a; L, F' o; p3 u! _9 LThis is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for p' H/ [8 `9 C4 s" o4 H5 T. A
becoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.

% b- F9 ?0 R/ u6 P. y) @Trainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials
# t( z5 r( D. }2 @of Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different5 u( }+ l Y' j3 L$ u
certified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events.0 d* M1 K1 Z% B& C( s1 r
