EDBA (Edmonton District Badminton Association,就是我们加入的那个协会)在2月23日星期六举行一个裁判的培训。1 v* ^ E* K5 a

时间:上午9点至12点理论培训,下午1点至4点实习。

3 f7 M+ l" h- a; N7 v) Y' ]% RThis is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for
* `3 @- E# z0 ?5 U& {: mbecoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.- x5 v! I; I, n" u2 X* v& P& \9 t# l( l
# u' ]+ \3 m# ]6 w% oTrainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials
( @/ l" R" d% ~" S: Mof Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different
! [1 r% M( z) l' Xcertified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events.
