there are a few kinds of BH that help cars start from extreme cold weather,
% w# V% } h3 S7 h9 Tbasically , BH keep the car warm by heating up the oil pan-which keeps the engine oil from frozen, or by heating up the coolant/radiator, and keep the engine block warm.) Q$ ^6 A/ O; W, }! \0 L
Either way, the engine shall not be frozen with use of BH.! a+ G- Y% g; s& \4 X, ^& u

2 C' o- M. p& BIf you do not have BH on ur car, by using synthetic oil you can also prevent oil frozen from happening. i: P, L6 ^ F& B7 k
A good synthetic oil, 5w20 or 5w 30 , or 3w 20 have a pure point of -30 to -40 degrees./ k \2 N" h7 b; H" l
& e1 D' Z- F( J) c5 g! M3 N1 _if you have BH or SO, but ur car still could not be started up, and you have not checked/replaced your battary before the winter came, I bet the battary is dead. |
