Position Overview: Under minimal supervision, work as a technologist in a startup biotech company (http://www.atgcell.com) in Edmonton. Responsible for the execution of experiments in a laboratory using well-established techniques. Other duties include routine lab maintenance and assist with ordering.

! v- @0 A' A* _1 |! M- VExtensive experience in mammalian cell culture is required, in particular high-throughput or large-scale environment.

: f" l% z% f7 MPractical knowledge of common molecular biology techniques is desirable, particularly in PCR, plasmid construction, DNA sequence analysis and western blotting.
! M" l: \" v2 H
Have good record keeping habits and abilities, suitable to maintain accurate and complete records.

Ability to precisely follow written and verbal directions.

: V% S* h- s4 m" j; WPrevious industrial working experience is a great asset.
