Biotech Technologist Position Available

, q0 a; T2 M: u/ i; t& bPosition Overview: Under minimal supervision, work as a technologist in a startup biotech company (http://www.atgcell.com) in Edmonton. Responsible for the execution of experiments in a laboratory using well-established techniques. Other duties include routine lab maintenance and assist with ordering.

Skills and Abilities Required
; G4 S/ ~6 @& Z1 F8 F( fExtensive experience in mammalian cell culture is required, in particular high-throughput or large-scale environment.
+ `( [: Z: }& E# {2 q$ |! F" e- k; L8 k3 P5 D
Practical knowledge of common molecular biology techniques is desirable, particularly in PCR, plasmid construction, DNA sequence analysis and western blotting.
$ h6 F# n F% B1 W: ] R" _- v0 I7 N# V& ]" W$ ^5 t
Have good record keeping habits and abilities, suitable to maintain accurate and complete records.
