Position Overview: Under minimal supervision, work as a technologist in a startup biotech company (http://www.atgcell.com) in Edmonton. Responsible for the execution of experiments in a laboratory using well-established techniques. Other duties include routine lab maintenance and assist with ordering.

Skills and Abilities Required
4 f# m* k" S# E$ cExtensive experience in mammalian cell culture is required, in particular high-throughput or large-scale environment.
1 x% g# I) C# _. v1 a) z
Practical knowledge of common molecular biology techniques is desirable, particularly in PCR, plasmid construction, DNA sequence analysis and western blotting.
* g! N+ m/ q2 x6 F% i  _1 D
- ^2 g5 D3 h2 B0 f0 THave good record keeping habits and abilities, suitable to maintain accurate and complete records.

Ability to precisely follow written and verbal directions.

Previous industrial working experience is a great asset.

Minimum Qualifications
