ATGCell Inc., a spin-off biotech company (http://www.atgcell.com) of the
# W( G) ?" }6 E, z4 \! V/ J8 Y( iUniversity of Alberta, is focusing on the production and service of
recombinant proteins and stable cell lines. To further develop our
technology, we are currently seeking a highly-motivated researcher with
strong track record in molecular and/or cellular biology and willingness
2 p6 g5 R% G7 @to apply for government funding with us.

Qualified candidates should have a PhD or MS degree within 5 years or will
obtain one within 2-3 months, in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry or a
5 q, b- K; A' \0 Brelated field. Extensive experience in protein expression and purification
1 J" d4 j4 o8 g& H( H' Ifrom bacterial or eukaryotic sources, and/or in mammalian cell culture, is
required. Familiarity with recombinant DNA techniques, including PCR, DNA
- o4 v5 o4 S# pcloning and mutagenesis is also required. Prior experience in protein
) j1 [, v# k- H2 N; x/ l; G7 jover-expression in insect cells/yeast, or large-scale protein purification
$ t/ ]& X: V" Gis a good plus. The position requires excellent organizational skills with
the ability to work independently and multi-tasked along with keeping
accurate and complete research records.

This position is conditional to a successful application of external

salary for the successful candidate will be 55-60K/yr depending on
