ATGCell Inc., a spin-off biotech company (http://www.atgcell.com) of the
: t% u& u! N% u( E0 g& ZUniversity of Alberta, is focusing on the production and service of
6 x. F( f5 E1 [0 crecombinant proteins and stable cell lines. To further develop our
technology, we are currently seeking a highly-motivated researcher with
strong track record in molecular and/or cellular biology and willingness
to apply for government funding with us.

  ]9 ]. W6 U7 R) v/ VQualified candidates should have a PhD or MS degree within 5 years or will
obtain one within 2-3 months, in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry or a
related field. Extensive experience in protein expression and purification
from bacterial or eukaryotic sources, and/or in mammalian cell culture, is
2 {& n9 |% }# ]# q5 b* Q, _% V( crequired. Familiarity with recombinant DNA techniques, including PCR, DNA
cloning and mutagenesis is also required. Prior experience in protein
! y% V* G! x  h  F) }: bover-expression in insect cells/yeast, or large-scale protein purification
is a good plus. The position requires excellent organizational skills with
/ [* y& n9 V; v- r" k" ]5 C, lthe ability to work independently and multi-tasked along with keeping

funding, such as the Alberta Ingenuity Fund R&D Associate. Anticipated
salary for the successful candidate will be 55-60K/yr depending on
