ATGCell Inc., a spin-off biotech company (http://www.atgcell.com) of the
University of Alberta, is focusing on the production and service of
7 T+ q+ f! \+ C+ P7 k7 trecombinant proteins and stable cell lines. To further develop our
technology, we are currently seeking a highly-motivated researcher with
/ }7 D8 N" ~+ Kstrong track record in molecular and/or cellular biology and willingness
/ q- E4 y7 C3 sto apply for government funding with us.

Qualified candidates should have a PhD or MS degree within 5 years or will
, {" `0 M2 B7 ^$ v" n) zobtain one within 2-3 months, in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry or a
related field. Extensive experience in protein expression and purification
( V- Y1 C: C7 d1 B$ G: Mfrom bacterial or eukaryotic sources, and/or in mammalian cell culture, is
required. Familiarity with recombinant DNA techniques, including PCR, DNA
cloning and mutagenesis is also required. Prior experience in protein
over-expression in insect cells/yeast, or large-scale protein purification
  Y1 G0 _; [, _/ o3 |- l3 O' R5 q4 ?is a good plus. The position requires excellent organizational skills with
  Y& W# j, [* nthe ability to work independently and multi-tasked along with keeping
' a6 v- }' z% d) M# haccurate and complete research records.

This position is conditional to a successful application of external
