ATGCell Inc., a spin-off biotech company (http://www.atgcell.com) of the
University of Alberta, is focusing on the production and service of
% b( {" j+ t. X, ]$ Q5 ?2 F) \. q) }& ]recombinant proteins and stable cell lines. To further develop our
4 a: r8 t( Z5 [9 a* qtechnology, we are currently seeking a highly-motivated researcher with
strong track record in molecular and/or cellular biology and willingness
to apply for government funding with us.

Qualified candidates should have a PhD or MS degree within 5 years or will
obtain one within 2-3 months, in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry or a
+ Z. ]4 E" _3 c9 D' U4 A/ Irelated field. Extensive experience in protein expression and purification
from bacterial or eukaryotic sources, and/or in mammalian cell culture, is
required. Familiarity with recombinant DNA techniques, including PCR, DNA
" l& c. h, o2 G/ Y" V  pcloning and mutagenesis is also required. Prior experience in protein
over-expression in insect cells/yeast, or large-scale protein purification
% O( [0 k1 m% Q. A" [is a good plus. The position requires excellent organizational skills with
the ability to work independently and multi-tasked along with keeping
  E" C2 P) ~5 k( V+ K/ faccurate and complete research records.

funding, such as the Alberta Ingenuity Fund R&D Associate. Anticipated
9 F0 I3 g" E  `) r4 Xsalary for the successful candidate will be 55-60K/yr depending on
