  的装饰，却可以尽情秀出自己的风采、个性、特点。我们靠的是一份热情，凭

, b. H7 E/ j8 O9 YThe Chinese Students and Scholars Association (CSSA) at the University
/ Y0 x' v( P7 n) Q! I+ H; t& m of Alberta will be holding a Spring Festival Evening Party around the
" x% U3 U3 v/ |9 N% @1 b eve of Chinese lunar New Year to add the diverse community Chinese
cultural activities. This event is not only a reminder of food, fun and
: J% e/ x, P; f customs, but also a very good opportunity to wipe out our homesickness on
this broad land.

; K* F8 A. |# j/ R  r6 O" uWe encourage students and scholars who are interested in performance to
contribute to the evening party by showcasing your abilities and
* l) U. P( O/ x3 F9 H4 R+ n9 x# q, r talents. Although we have no luxurious dressings and professional skills in
% c+ Q4 t9 _7 M8 ^& t  Z! L; @8 C2 V performing arts, the most critical point we have is our passion to show
! B: y3 {" b8 G ourselves such as any topic related to our life and studies in
: `3 @' A2 {: G  _  K1 f Edmonton. Please come and join us to fill up the party. It’s going to be a
4 K, J6 N( J4 i9 f0 Q" w( o lot of fun, like what we did before.

As far as your prospective programs are concerned, they can be songs
' @! m& S9 R1 i# w+ X- a& r sung by a single singer or multiple singers, song and dance (Ge Wu),
stand-up comedy (Xiang Sheng), skits (Xiao Pin), drama (Hua Ju) or any
( h2 I$ u3 A9 _* @6 [ performance with instruments (e.g., piano). It would be great if your
program could reflect our society. If you have a play for skits, stand-up
comedy or drama to present, please contact CSSA for performance since
CSSA executives want to have a show collectively.

Meanwhile, a host is needed for the evening party. Volunteers are also
on demand to work on the stage to assist lighting and audio system
control.
