of Alberta will be holding a Spring Festival Evening Party around the1 e9 K3 F. x2 H- Q3 r( Q
eve of Chinese lunar New Year to add the diverse community Chinese
" A. @4 M) Z. L) E9 r# b cultural activities. This event is not only a reminder of food, fun and
2 a, V& I! `+ i# c. d' u% v customs, but also a very good opportunity to wipe out our homesickness on2 o0 n+ z8 c/ b- ^+ x
this broad land.4 G2 [/ w* J' x1 q1 [$ {% |! `& X

We encourage students and scholars who are interested in performance to6 s5 w4 T- U& q6 H q
contribute to the evening party by showcasing your abilities and
9 g/ X. b) p/ t. ` talents. Although we have no luxurious dressings and professional skills in* s0 z4 G. B0 }2 g" S0 I% T
performing arts, the most critical point we have is our passion to show
: d2 A/ N1 U/ @0 F9 W5 |+ b ourselves such as any topic related to our life and studies in! E, {" ^! D+ u
Edmonton. Please come and join us to fill up the party. It’s going to be a+ s: W& m7 _; f
lot of fun, like what we did before.

As far as your prospective programs are concerned, they can be songs/ ]1 M9 g+ E* ]6 M
sung by a single singer or multiple singers, song and dance (Ge Wu),( M; t% y+ z$ j6 Y) ?2 t
stand-up comedy (Xiang Sheng), skits (Xiao Pin), drama (Hua Ju) or any
# O6 D! e- |% S. H9 q performance with instruments (e.g., piano). It would be great if your
- e. W% u0 z: l. X- w) d' J program could reflect our society. If you have a play for skits, stand-up8 r! G, V4 g8 i C- D2 F, t
comedy or drama to present, please contact CSSA for performance since
* _* J: D4 p3 F' o. ` x* X/ ` CSSA executives want to have a show collectively.
+ a# b" O8 d4 h @9 d 0 A9 K5 Y0 \+ C7 z# C$ U8 M* l' K
Meanwhile, a host is needed for the evening party. Volunteers are also
/ i3 J2 r2 r2 ~. r5 d on demand to work on the stage to assist lighting and audio system) I4 e& W; S% ~& q: o
control. 0 _( E6 Q# t" a: q0 E
& `. L+ e& P1 H/ g8 |! H7 O
