愁都与我们无关，舞姿歌声都发自我们心底。不需要专业的培训，也没有华丽

First call for actors -- CSSA Evening Party for 2008 Chinese New Year/ M% n" @1 P. m, x9 h- p, H5 b
. J( R3 `6 l8 j$ G* q+ kThe Chinese Students and Scholars Association (CSSA) at the University! T6 s1 s; l9 [: ?8 ]) F
of Alberta will be holding a Spring Festival Evening Party around the
3 U& _7 W' y; O) c3 | eve of Chinese lunar New Year to add the diverse community Chinese i7 w- O. }! w" R
cultural activities. This event is not only a reminder of food, fun and
\: \' \' ?* V5 |. I customs, but also a very good opportunity to wipe out our homesickness on
. a1 x( o+ q, l this broad land.* b4 W/ R9 Q' E& N

We encourage students and scholars who are interested in performance to1 }4 t5 L$ K$ }- T% d" H* n
contribute to the evening party by showcasing your abilities and* T3 g! X* _1 r9 }. f7 s# v
talents. Although we have no luxurious dressings and professional skills in' e; H" W2 O1 p
performing arts, the most critical point we have is our passion to show$ \: k; D! b+ X* Z( O: w
ourselves such as any topic related to our life and studies in
) X3 o9 d+ m5 w* L Edmonton. Please come and join us to fill up the party. It’s going to be a
% B9 a7 e4 t- Q$ D) g0 [* t) d0 c7 _ lot of fun, like what we did before.

+ [# m0 D) t( M1 N( C sung by a single singer or multiple singers, song and dance (Ge Wu),6 Z0 }8 T" |, o( o$ v1 S' d. B
stand-up comedy (Xiang Sheng), skits (Xiao Pin), drama (Hua Ju) or any
% L# f; l, b; t0 r performance with instruments (e.g., piano). It would be great if your
2 K$ U9 z0 t0 t8 b4 o program could reflect our society. If you have a play for skits, stand-up
( i+ ?( ^$ c% s2 O% k) z comedy or drama to present, please contact CSSA for performance since
0 X5 C& a& l5 t5 L5 R) z9 A CSSA executives want to have a show collectively.
" O8 c$ c2 R9 u! }" O1 D
9 h: j8 i3 \. ~; p aMeanwhile, a host is needed for the evening party. Volunteers are also
" w8 g0 h) V8 ~- A- B& }, M# a on demand to work on the stage to assist lighting and audio system0 f8 J. V2 b6 {5 A# v6 J N, g1 R& V
control.
