• provide day to day leadership to support staff in programming functions

• prepare, complete and submit all program proposals including budgets and reports to the funders and key stakeholders

• identify community and user needs and trends

• build, maintain strong relationships with all levels of governments, businesses, community groups, public & funders- g) ^& O- U) d
• communicate the value of the organization to the public

- r0 e3 Z- s) c+ {+ q: u• coordinate and monitor significant programs through liaison/partnership with other community groups w/ Q. g% \. `' C8 C' h3 U
• advocate, educate, promote cross-cultural respect & understanding of immigrants, visible minorities & other at risk or multi-risks groups2 D4 a( s% ^6 Q3 i1 X: R* v
• work with community and social agencies/groups to raise awareness of systemic issues affecting people from a broad socio-economic spectrum to social policy makers and to lobby for social changes in society, legislation and systems.) @" W- R9 |! ?* D: B6 l
• Identify funding opportunities and resources that enhance the agency programs/services and staff

Qualifications
1 \ ], N B" s, l4 B- University degree in a related field;
, v( I2 X. Z5 D- i- H0 H- Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit / voluntary organization;
7 P% \7 n+ z# @9 f( J% \- Knowledge of human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management; ' {" i& D; K) d, i* x+ n% ?
- 2 or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization

- $50,000 - $55,000 + benefits , N* ?. r+ B' ?1 ?8 c9 \. f
