• develop, implement and manage operational and programming budgets

• monitor progress of agency service providers and coordinators: k; N7 a8 r+ {/ U, l& P

• meet with staff on regular basis

• overall management of all agency projects/programs and services

• implement and monitor programs and community activities to meet identified needs and trends

• act as community liaison and cultural broker between the immigrant community and other communities! j: |! z3 x% E% |% g# t$ s9 f$ Z* B$ Q
• build, maintain strong relationships with all levels of governments, businesses, community groups, public & funders

• identify community needs and trends2 v- m6 }7 X6 s, Q3 j
• coordinate and monitor significant programs through liaison/partnership with other community groups
- ^6 d5 h8 J5 [- ~• advocate, educate, promote cross-cultural respect & understanding of immigrants, visible minorities & other at risk or multi-risks groups: E. ]! d0 M3 N$ z7 ^# l
• work with community and social agencies/groups to raise awareness of systemic issues affecting people from a broad socio-economic spectrum to social policy makers and to lobby for social changes in society, legislation and systems.9 v/ W H" B q6 J5 j) x
• Identify funding opportunities and resources that enhance the agency programs/services and staff

Qualifications" j/ t* O! w0 _( |- y
- University degree in a related field;
( O" ^% m* a9 g- @6 v0 \. u: q* y- Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit / voluntary organization; z3 L. v$ b* s+ G6 P- Y* K) h
- Knowledge of human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;
" W# C8 i3 x! u) O: \$ g! X- 2 or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization

- $50,000 - $55,000 + benefits 8 s% _& ] q& X* L- Q8 D' R9 u0 w5 M
