Staff

• provide opportunities for staff development and growth

• design, develop and monitor client-centred programs and activities
$ E8 p$ m: G) i) l: C• prepare, complete and submit all program proposals including budgets and reports to the funders and key stakeholders

• identify community and user needs and trends) a3 A$ U' [' n3 q: a. }) F. ?
• implement and monitor programs and community activities to meet identified needs and trends

• ensure programs serve to enhance the coping capacities and well-being of people by removing inhumane systems or barriers and to empower people to work on positive changes in themselves and in others

• act as community liaison and cultural broker between the immigrant community and other communities

• communicate the value of the organization to the public

• coordinate and monitor significant programs through liaison/partnership with other community groups
2 ?: P: A+ A7 K5 U6 {! W5 A• advocate, educate, promote cross-cultural respect & understanding of immigrants, visible minorities & other at risk or multi-risks groups
/ C8 m# A6 T4 M6 b) B2 l6 ^. s• work with community and social agencies/groups to raise awareness of systemic issues affecting people from a broad socio-economic spectrum to social policy makers and to lobby for social changes in society, legislation and systems.

Qualifications
5 H3 j3 K; }' `; e; T6 I. y% \- University degree in a related field; ; M9 J& ]$ ~0 f1 c
- Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit / voluntary organization;
, \9 e, _: L3 ^. Y% D' j- Knowledge of human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;
5 u( A" V! P# G) ~, ]/ }- 2 or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization 7 e( \# x1 J! Y2 o$ ?; x9 p. C

Salary
/ T, a- Y5 Z! ^, ~5 o u- $50,000 - $55,000 + benefits
