JOB SUMMARY:  The Food Service Worker II responsible to the Senior Operations Manager-Food Services and Operating Assistant and will assist in all areas for maximum service to patrons.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
/ l3 k) v7 c( W& Y: C8 h* Z1 a
3 Y+ Q/ D+ ?* l; w% n1)  Assist with all aspects of food preparation, display food in an attractive & appetizing manner, and clean in the kitchen area.
) m$ z3 f% P! x, P
$ X. m  L) H/ w" T4 q2)  Provide excellent customer service to student, staff and public clients, in a professional and friendly manner at all times.
, C+ C0 f# N7 r2 T3 X0 [4 N8 L
' O7 B* A  |) d; b8 O7 D/ r3)  Follow proper food handling and storage techniques as per Capital Health standards.

4)  Capable and willing to work in all areas and able to work rotating shifts within the  Students´ Union Food Services operating hours.

3 v4 F9 G& g( N* [1 p. u9 o; w# K' H5) Serve as cashier when required.

7 G7 p. X7 m+ ?5 E: E: G6) To perform other related duties as directed by the Senior Operations Manager-Food Services and Operating Assistant.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1) Minimum one year in the food industry.  Thorough knowledge of safe food handling and storage techniques.

2 I8 Q% X) n$ F' S" s( x' e* a! \2) Cashier experience.
) r. U' H& G5 K! C* y, `8 d
3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.
* J3 F5 a' o4 Q# v" M
4) Excellent customer service skills and staff relations abilities.

5) Completion of Grade XII (Alberta) or equivalent.
