JOB SUMMARY:  The Food Service Worker II responsible to the Senior Operations Manager-Food Services and Operating Assistant and will assist in all areas for maximum service to patrons.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  w. S! R$ U  ~$ d' p/ J( G# X
; e. q  q. S) r# @. @: N* O$ t/ X7 g; H, c1)  Assist with all aspects of food preparation, display food in an attractive & appetizing manner, and clean in the kitchen area.

2)  Provide excellent customer service to student, staff and public clients, in a professional and friendly manner at all times.

3)  Follow proper food handling and storage techniques as per Capital Health standards.

$ a% e6 x+ `; I# `" E3 V" ?# Y4)  Capable and willing to work in all areas and able to work rotating shifts within the  Students´ Union Food Services operating hours.

5) Serve as cashier when required.

6) To perform other related duties as directed by the Senior Operations Manager-Food Services and Operating Assistant.

QUALIFICATIONS:

0 L: d2 }) a% p3 d3 Y8 l" i1) Minimum one year in the food industry.  Thorough knowledge of safe food handling and storage techniques.
- s1 C, }# C3 t- G6 ^. q& [3 j; o
3 H3 i7 Z' w/ p4 r2) Cashier experience.

3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

4) Excellent customer service skills and staff relations abilities.

5) Completion of Grade XII (Alberta) or equivalent.
