JOB SUMMARY:  The Food Service Worker II responsible to the Senior Operations Manager-Food Services and Operating Assistant and will assist in all areas for maximum service to patrons.

* @* T2 Q$ t( W9 c/ b7 z DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

0 X9 a. E, z$ X) b: m1)  Assist with all aspects of food preparation, display food in an attractive & appetizing manner, and clean in the kitchen area.
; B- z1 C6 p' ^6 i7 T
2)  Provide excellent customer service to student, staff and public clients, in a professional and friendly manner at all times.

3)  Follow proper food handling and storage techniques as per Capital Health standards.

' l% z+ p& l/ _% Z1 ^* z3 X4)  Capable and willing to work in all areas and able to work rotating shifts within the  Students´ Union Food Services operating hours.
) H$ p' k+ \( \; g" W# t
3 h+ f0 z  i( Q0 v8 j9 S5) Serve as cashier when required.

6) To perform other related duties as directed by the Senior Operations Manager-Food Services and Operating Assistant.

1) Minimum one year in the food industry.  Thorough knowledge of safe food handling and storage techniques.
" a' @& s- m( k5 `$ G, e
0 j! W/ ?0 L3 u* \; M% ~6 c- a  V/ [2) Cashier experience.

4 A; g( r$ ], u/ c2 N/ j3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

  b; K  ^0 w" M% n) O/ p4) Excellent customer service skills and staff relations abilities.

5) Completion of Grade XII (Alberta) or equivalent.
