JOB SUMMARY:  The Food Service Worker II responsible to the Senior Operations Manager-Food Services and Operating Assistant and will assist in all areas for maximum service to patrons.

4 u$ {% X; L' f* |: r DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

6 `0 c, r/ i7 d' m  |( J. n1)  Assist with all aspects of food preparation, display food in an attractive & appetizing manner, and clean in the kitchen area.

2)  Provide excellent customer service to student, staff and public clients, in a professional and friendly manner at all times.

4 x  S' x; Z3 t3)  Follow proper food handling and storage techniques as per Capital Health standards.

4)  Capable and willing to work in all areas and able to work rotating shifts within the  Students´ Union Food Services operating hours.

5) Serve as cashier when required.

+ L( z1 Y- I7 Y6) To perform other related duties as directed by the Senior Operations Manager-Food Services and Operating Assistant.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1) Minimum one year in the food industry.  Thorough knowledge of safe food handling and storage techniques.

# |  Y' i6 N- x2) Cashier experience.
& V7 ^7 _! y) n5 a$ t3 x0 T
3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

4) Excellent customer service skills and staff relations abilities.

& _6 n; c( A! B4 Q5) Completion of Grade XII (Alberta) or equivalent.
