Shifts:            8:00am to11:00am - Wednesday and Friday

            

JOB SUMMARY:  The Food Service Worker II responsible to the Senior Operations Manager-Food Services and Operating Assistant and will assist in all areas for maximum service to patrons.

# `  T& S: {6 } DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1)  Assist with all aspects of food preparation, display food in an attractive & appetizing manner, and clean in the kitchen area.

2)  Provide excellent customer service to student, staff and public clients, in a professional and friendly manner at all times.

+ t; a8 U' Z( m# [. ^3 Q& v3)  Follow proper food handling and storage techniques as per Capital Health standards.

  {$ I3 W* \( b+ |% h+ q+ _  U4)  Capable and willing to work in all areas and able to work rotating shifts within the  Students´ Union Food Services operating hours.

5) Serve as cashier when required.

6) To perform other related duties as directed by the Senior Operations Manager-Food Services and Operating Assistant.

QUALIFICATIONS:
# C' ~( i3 |, s  |$ ]! a: Q% f, y
. `6 D8 ^# Q- W8 j, h1) Minimum one year in the food industry.  Thorough knowledge of safe food handling and storage techniques.

2) Cashier experience.

3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

# |0 U# l/ F) A% X4) Excellent customer service skills and staff relations abilities.

5) Completion of Grade XII (Alberta) or equivalent.
