I sent an email to CIC buffalo yesterday inquiring about my case and got the reply: ; M3 M& W2 L' [2 i5 ]- \) c1 O* v) q9 Y5 ^
"We have requested background information from other government7 h0 `+ O* U+ N$ R2 m) G
offices(s). Unfortunately, we cannot provide a date when the processing 6 C* n# T/ N2 q8 H- P3 v+ r* v/ pof your application will be complete. We cannot respond to requests for; \1 b: P4 g( J+ ^
the status of your application before this information is received."9 n/ c( u7 `' D! W4 w
! e& V% B k& G
Does this mean I am undergoing background check? Is it a normal BC and security background check(SBC)? Anybody has idea about how long it is gonna take? Thank you!
