About background check

FN Sep.11 2006
.....(nothing from then)

I sent an email to CIC buffalo yesterday inquiring about my case and got the reply:

"We have requested background information from other government
; u- h9 {; v" t% R- G& B( [: Woffices(s).  Unfortunately, we cannot provide a date when the processing
8 N7 m. N9 \0 x7 m. w0 aof your application will be complete.  We cannot respond to requests for
" I0 G" ~5 M: F* lthe status of your application before this information is received."

  T2 ~, |) e/ }3 J4 R, u/ T/ nDoes this mean I am undergoing background check? Is it a normal BC and security background check(SBC)? Anybody has idea about how long it is gonna take? Thank you!

听说凡是粘军工边的都要被做背景调查.

本人也不幸在被调查中...

不用太担心，他们的回复都是同一格式，不代表一定在作背景调查。我也收到过这样的回复，后来request了一个CAIPS NOTES，发现是不知为什么我老婆得Medical Examinaion的结果他们一直没收到。现在我们就要landing了。你也可以request一个CAIPS NOTES，看看到底是怎么回事。

不一定就是背景调查，　也可能是查再加拿大有无犯罪记录什么的，不用担心。
