JOB SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Senior Operations Manager- 8 z2 V" \; R5 d9 D" D" _
SU Print Centre and Operations Manager-Production & Technical . l3 C! t6 j5 X, @* q
Support, these positions are responsible for assisting in all aspects 7 S0 Y9 f$ R" G6 _1 k8 f! L5 `3 U
of Course Pack production.. t. v7 ?, Y! r$ q2 }
4 |: G- N& \& n, M+ dDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
" U) `" n2 D' I8 o- P, ^1) To assist in the creation of course packs, including the scanning * M; k# `/ @5 A$ Q2 d
of paper files, editing of digital files, proofing and printing.2 s, r' v7 N3 t" E
! \7 n2 ~% N) n7 ^" v$ p' C; t
2) To develop a good working knowledge of print equipment, including
: S2 `* G) E$ D$ ~( k% Rprint queue, paper loading, toner and technical troubleshooting.

3) To assist with all aspects of bindery, packing and shipping of 0 h5 A5 z3 z3 d/ a1 V9 f
course packs. This includes following operational procedures and
X4 a/ a& W4 F+ D2 okeeping appropriate and accurate records.1 `% {( H- X$ C; x
# c5 H! p* X2 Q& r' G1 K4) To communicate stock needs and printing and bindery equipment

/ D. c/ O* H, v) n5) To develop a working knowledge of Access Copyright requirements, " \2 ?4 F' {% O4 G
and adhere to regulations as appropriate.8 A( U3 ?6 x2 |0 m; h* [; k" v: i

6) To contribute positively to a cooperative working environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:$ ^$ y6 Z S' _2 g- s* t
1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.
& y& B# ?4 f2 W! }# [$ c, \: i2) Attention to details. Excellent organizational and communication
+ X2 b/ |8 E1 Y ^2 pskills.

3) A good working knowledge of Windows would be helpful.

4) An aptitude for technical problem determination and resolution.
