JOB SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Senior Operations Manager-
0 ~+ f. T, m' o! G! M/ v# h, DSU Print Centre and Operations Manager-Production & Technical $ }* m7 f1 z. q) b% K+ m! m7 c
Support, these positions are responsible for assisting in all aspects
* M# m" A0 C+ F U/ p" \" ]" wof Course Pack production.2 |2 j' _9 E b& z* m6 U
7 z" v7 ~0 m" F" G/ K7 x! }
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
) Q! z$ {8 f$ E# G1) To assist in the creation of course packs, including the scanning 3 l+ d& g" X) R& D1 u. t( H# T- f
of paper files, editing of digital files, proofing and printing.
# k3 n" R1 r! T
. T) J0 S" ^, n, [2) To develop a good working knowledge of print equipment, including 6 }, l3 Z V. A3 l2 u
print queue, paper loading, toner and technical troubleshooting.
# s+ h7 [" H e. j
' b/ H4 ` A2 p+ f- g3) To assist with all aspects of bindery, packing and shipping of
- Q8 R' ?$ X! B2 P1 Wcourse packs. This includes following operational procedures and % R' [" F5 |& L, T# t" K2 q5 ^+ w
keeping appropriate and accurate records. s# v3 \# t* }; O: V4 q
: a2 z# x. B8 _6 o7 V4) To communicate stock needs and printing and bindery equipment
; D3 R6 |2 _% N% |* V) ^failures to the Operations Manager.

: s2 _$ _: V, c- n5) To develop a working knowledge of Access Copyright requirements,

* c( u1 c9 W1 G g2) Attention to details. Excellent organizational and communication ( R* B5 k- m# r" P* [
skills.

3) A good working knowledge of Windows would be helpful. [' w- b: Z( z- Y
o% z' M" _9 h3 C0 J7 `$ J6 x \4) An aptitude for technical problem determination and resolution.
