Audience Services: Provides information, aid and security on the site for everyone participating in the

Be Your Own Busker (ATB Big Top): Work with creative people who will teach patrons to juggle and
3 \7 G6 J; | g8 Dwork the Diablo, play in a band and lots of other fun stuff. Duties include, helping at artist circles, craft
- e) T1 ]7 }3 q0 Q( zprep, door person, stagehand, and clean up.
6 X* |) d$ n2 A& k# dChalk Chics: Festival goers will be asked to participate in chalk drawings. Volunteers will be helping the
" z% p+ d$ {0 d0 |# w) c/ uartist by providing whatever support is needed for this activity. More details to come.
3 ^- v2 P9 e: m+ t7 y' ]Environment: We need lots of volunteers to help ensure that the Square is kept looking beautiful for
( i- q- P% ]9 _0 e0 d Avisitors to the festival. We provide equipment and materials to help you dispose of garbage and sort the' l9 [3 ]* C& h( }; T
recyclables.+ b$ G9 k7 W" f
Front of House: If you are well organized, like people, and can handle line up control and questions, be
5 w6 J/ [- G/ \% O% Y/ Apart of the door crew for our three indoor theatre events. You must be able to work late into the evening.3 e% X3 c- P, }$ j+ o) w2 k; m
Hospitality: The volunteers are off site in the host hotel looking after our artists and guests by providing5 f$ t0 @( e1 Q, z8 Y1 \
them with delicious meals, snacks and beverages in the Hospitality Suite. Some heavy lifting and late
( C1 g& s/ v: Z3 ~+ Ahours are part of this crew’s duties.
* C- ]% [9 F" r" I& V9 e, X- ]! j8 RInformation: Inside the Info trailer, volunteers on this crew know everything there is to know about the: Q7 q ?% `, s5 }. J
festival - who, what, when where and how is their business. They also sell merchandise and provide
% j S4 @/ l5 P! c5 x9 xprograms to visitors to the festival.8 p# Y' ~/ ~- S6 c- z! D
Kids’ World: Enjoy some time entertaining the wee folks. Activities and games will be provided for/ m$ o- L& S. L0 ?/ Q
everyone coming to this area. Help our creative coordinators make this place an enjoyable experience.: Y; d( i D, j' U" m
Office: Duties will include answering telephone inquiries about the festival, selling seats to the ticketed5 W! d- M% | ^; t; z
events and general office duties. Volunteers must have a good telephone manner and knowledge of the
* x$ I7 X' q6 Z8 W3 t1 z( _festival.$ W$ Q3 K8 l6 z& h" ~: [# a
Site: Volunteers will help our Production manager and his assistant make sure all that the physical site is
3 s6 t4 S- Z% e! n- `' Xoperating smoothly. From erecting tents to flying banners and putting up fencing, it is important that you" N0 e; l# C* s# I- B' ?4 _5 M
are physically fit and ready for any emergency.
4 h+ a8 G7 V; o# P: f9 C. JStage: All volunteers who are helping with any theatrical productions must have some previous training
& K* v: K/ g- K; n M4 i+ ~and/or understanding of back stage procedures." Q5 x" f+ _( X" }+ r
Transportation: Volunteers 25 years of age with a clean driving license, (driver’s abstract will be8 T9 I6 q8 j' d. x0 C7 H( N
required), will be asked to drive artists to and from various performance locations in the city as well as
4 G& p# f! t/ r3 b8 }airport arrivals and departures. Other duties include day to day pick ups and deliveries that the festival
e" [3 [* Q8 ?) V$ g* h$ Gstaff and artists may require. A good knowledge of the city is required. |
