6 j2 i5 h) o. R4 X% QAudience Services: Provides information, aid and security on the site for everyone participating in the2 K' c' u Z# Q1 w& V( j

Be Your Own Busker (ATB Big Top): Work with creative people who will teach patrons to juggle and, a* j }5 a0 I4 y2 e5 w8 I
work the Diablo, play in a band and lots of other fun stuff. Duties include, helping at artist circles, craft! f& U/ }7 F( Q6 ~& [
prep, door person, stagehand, and clean up.
$ W% J1 x2 I8 I! [) r; j! SChalk Chics: Festival goers will be asked to participate in chalk drawings. Volunteers will be helping the
5 d ~" x- h! L i: hartist by providing whatever support is needed for this activity. More details to come.: e, g# ~$ k3 L/ q
Environment: We need lots of volunteers to help ensure that the Square is kept looking beautiful for0 y9 |. I+ d9 O
visitors to the festival. We provide equipment and materials to help you dispose of garbage and sort the
" E o7 Q- o& U8 }) x& m0 q& Urecyclables.' n' f: ?: p1 }8 X" R9 D( b. g
Front of House: If you are well organized, like people, and can handle line up control and questions, be
: {$ P* K1 I) o3 P$ V$ l$ q% Zpart of the door crew for our three indoor theatre events. You must be able to work late into the evening.& b s8 Z/ Z( O+ d9 z$ W
Hospitality: The volunteers are off site in the host hotel looking after our artists and guests by providing
, c- t1 T' T: V: c ythem with delicious meals, snacks and beverages in the Hospitality Suite. Some heavy lifting and late6 r! T' Y _+ X, H6 B6 d# Q
hours are part of this crew’s duties.
: E$ b) m. R- `# ^4 v O6 VInformation: Inside the Info trailer, volunteers on this crew know everything there is to know about the
& c0 G! V2 K: M% ^festival - who, what, when where and how is their business. They also sell merchandise and provide' g- q- i8 t2 l) n( _+ {
programs to visitors to the festival.; E- O, k+ g! W: z& n
Kids’ World: Enjoy some time entertaining the wee folks. Activities and games will be provided for a) y" z, J* s, R' k$ Y4 y. z) X
everyone coming to this area. Help our creative coordinators make this place an enjoyable experience.
. M; K% f' g6 ~" L1 j' P& IOffice: Duties will include answering telephone inquiries about the festival, selling seats to the ticketed6 X; U" h1 g( P7 O) v3 {- X
events and general office duties. Volunteers must have a good telephone manner and knowledge of the
$ j/ L! C" z5 m; v. r9 Kfestival.% D- t) w) s% G6 q+ U
Site: Volunteers will help our Production manager and his assistant make sure all that the physical site is
4 V. Z4 O. ] W0 x# b; Coperating smoothly. From erecting tents to flying banners and putting up fencing, it is important that you
( y, h7 W+ L3 Q( ?. | rare physically fit and ready for any emergency.
9 E" t& ~) L0 r) ~4 VStage: All volunteers who are helping with any theatrical productions must have some previous training
8 h; u9 R0 z8 e3 a, N) Uand/or understanding of back stage procedures.
4 L* g/ P/ I5 L8 }% dTransportation: Volunteers 25 years of age with a clean driving license, (driver’s abstract will be
$ M) I6 ^% i! X- k! _% [' m3 S, ~required), will be asked to drive artists to and from various performance locations in the city as well as) _ J* Z/ z+ U) i1 v; l9 _+ f
airport arrivals and departures. Other duties include day to day pick ups and deliveries that the festival% c; t r( b- Z) k+ \& Q
staff and artists may require. A good knowledge of the city is required. |
