JOB SUMMARY:  Reporting to and under the supervision of the Senior  
; W$ y+ i# G4 v! N7 \' w, X" |Operations Manager-Retail and the Operations Manager-Retail, the  
5 R: I" r5 V& g! vfulltime Operating Assistant-SUBtitles is responsible for the  
effective operation of SUBtitles in the absence of the manager(s).

1 x4 W& Z. w6 b* e. `% H6 c% m+ HDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
! Y5 i: T& C" u0 a' x1)             Responsible for assisting the Operations Manager-
$ k$ B# z) n! |( |Retail in the training of part time staff
; |4 A) Z' v& E2 i1 ~; i1 m. S% u- {' c3 T. e
4 u! k; Z" X$ V" M' ?9 c: d, F2)             Responsible for supervising part time staff and  
5 I& Q* d3 c/ s6 qensuring that staff are fulfilling job requirements

8 B3 F6 r% F  ~2 ^3)             Responsible for assisting the Operations Manager-
Retail with cashing out and ensuring that floats are secured

4)             Capable and willing to work in all areas while working  
various shifts as per store hours

" Y& T) F1 E# q; W. \. I5)             Responsible for determining needs and finalizing  
; V( x, T8 U% G4 O. Eorders for external custom order clients
. D8 `( v8 {6 s" j7 T+ v+ i, Z
6)             Responsible for the accuracy of month end inventory  
counts

7)             Provide a high level of customer service

) {* A7 |" ]. ~6 b: z9 X8)             Responsible for ensuring that databases are kept up to  
date with regards to consignment data

; N: g( w+ n; S( j9 ?9)             Perform other job related duties, in SUBtitles and  
SUBmart, as required by the Senior Operations Manager-Retail and the  
Operations Manager-Retail

QUALIFICATIONS;
: n. [/ t6 Q, d! w1)             Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent
0 Y% V  ]' F! a  |- F( B
  a5 X" ?) i# s2 @2)             Post secondary education would be an asset
6 \  `4 X* U) Y( a0 ?: A5 a
' f' s" ~+ {3 }3)             Previous supervisory experience would be an asset

% y% e1 |+ a+ |& ?0 I0 F# {, t4)             Strong organizational skills

5)             High level of creativity, initiative and attention to  
detail

6)             Knowledge of computer operations

9 _/ Z, p5 x+ I8 A4 E7)             Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a  
* L& g! g' m1 E0 W1 {! U6 Zvariety of areas

3 W: t3 f' n2 `3 Z. c$ d8)             Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and  
the general public

+ t: J& D" b2 n/ T2 f9)             Experience in handling cash
* w% O) [: s. e3 LJuly 13th, 2005/Unionized position

Salary:            $1864/month - under negotiation
- h+ M5 z% a. w) LShift:            Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm
