Food Service Worker II - Food Services

JOB SUMMARY:  The Food Service Worker II responsible to the Senior  
Operations Manager-Food Services and Operating Assistant and will  
# N9 X) l4 V  T( K9 p4 U2 s( h2 dassist in all areas for maximum service to patrons.

: l. b! I6 ]1 E: P# xDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES;
1)              Assist with all aspects of food preparation, display  
9 P( U0 w0 ~9 [! \% d- vfood in an attractive & appetizing manner, and clean in the kitchen  
! k& I( V3 \5 N  [% karea.
7 M% z- B4 X: w
' B- h( D( E! p  y! z2) Provide excellent customer service to student, staff and public  
clients, in a professional and friendly manner at all times.

3)              Follow proper food handling and storage techniques as  
per Capital Health standards.

4)              Capable and willing to work in all areas and able to  
1 \. |0 Y* U  }+ R. ]: mwork rotating shifts within the  Students´ Union Food Services

1 `# [* J$ \: y1 [: b5) Serve as cashier when required.

6) To perform other related duties as directed by the Senior  
" M4 p3 i; ^8 z7 l0 AOperations Manager-Food Services and Operating Assistant.

2 c; G$ A  l1 ]: G) E, j1 r1 W  mQUALIFICATIONS;
1) Minimum one year in the food industry.  Thorough knowledge of safe  
food handling and storage techniques.

% g4 X) ^9 V5 ~' x/ G2)              Some cooking/baking experience.

3) Cashier experience.
; o; [- I( W  z: e* L
4) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

5) Excellent customer service skills and staff relations abilities.

6) Completion of Grade XII (Alberta) or equivalent.
