JOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
policies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
and are University affiliated.

. g+ c+ x# H. ^  k0 N2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.

3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
# D( @2 s# R3 W% Nof garbage.

, j- g/ F$ t# K. ~5 d9 z) d  j4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
2 k0 `2 d* F; a) p) K% b, rconsumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

6 T$ ?: y- R% n5 o4 h2 u5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
! y) a, N* @, o' W/ U& C2 O) t6 ~area when required.

QUALIFICATIONS;
1 E7 D+ R3 q2 C0 u9 C) B' _1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

, N  ^- s- K, \, E: h9 O2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
! O( A6 Z$ v2 T1 s; \of patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
calmly under extremely stressful conditions.

- F; |6 f2 c6 T9 V: ]$ u, k6 L- N* L3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

4) Must be physically capable.

5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general
