DOORPERSON (RATT)

$ S6 q2 A$ D2 |! u! aJOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
) H2 C6 [% L; h& {/ k3 H; _(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
& E) Q/ M5 h( Q3 zpolicies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
# a( B: i; p3 ]0 y  e1 W1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
and are University affiliated.
. ~, L9 R5 A" v) Q9 e" }$ O
2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.

/ {4 v# U% u* i3 C3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
of garbage.

4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
/ i% z, w! p" g+ d! Xconsumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.
# \2 v, o6 C# C6 y0 V
5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
area when required.

6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations

' I. [% F/ M6 z, [+ DQUALIFICATIONS;
1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

% x2 }! F. h" o6 S: U2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
- ^( n4 D& {' [6 Q/ ^of patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
) \: ]; [0 V( ocalmly under extremely stressful conditions.

$ z: J$ a/ c2 m- U. p9 v3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

4) Must be physically capable.

5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general  
public.

Wage: $7.73/hour + gratuities

Shift: 6 - 12 hours per week, 7pm - 1am Fridays and Saturdays
