DOORPERSON (RATT)

JOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
2 b- l1 |: E( N- |(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
. S: q, t, o9 o$ spolicies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
2 K* j6 c3 {9 Q2 J1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
and are University affiliated.
! N# C) _1 o6 t, u( b7 S2 d% E& N
2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.

  i9 C5 z" X/ u8 x+ b, S3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
: J- q& D' g  c) rof garbage.
+ z8 X; }, O3 z. u: ?: S
4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
9 J# r% U) b. M. U5 hconsumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
area when required.

Manager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

7 c& m# `0 G+ vQUALIFICATIONS;
1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
of patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
- \/ a6 D$ y/ j# P# `6 _5 Ucalmly under extremely stressful conditions.
% G0 v: u- n$ g& r7 b+ Z
* C! Y2 y) L& H0 X0 z3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

4) Must be physically capable.

5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general  
public.

Wage: $7.73/hour + gratuities

Shift: 6 - 12 hours per week, 7pm - 1am Fridays and Saturdays
