DOORPERSON (RATT)

JOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
. R! P' ]# Q# K9 G$ O) V(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
+ |8 Z' Z# r7 B  Y) {/ @policies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

4 C5 E6 b1 S$ I% c) lDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
! j1 ~5 O9 N( h$ \8 m6 D0 V1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
$ X. J5 d( O8 L' Z! M9 U# band are University affiliated.

2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.

3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
of garbage.

7 i7 o4 f. v8 d3 u- b4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
consumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

- f0 Y1 I) h, ]! P5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
area when required.

6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
! p, x1 C! T3 ~* |) OManager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

/ s* H2 Q% w$ M# y3 h5 s6 tQUALIFICATIONS;
1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
of patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
2 j% J# j5 N' g6 y$ c# pcalmly under extremely stressful conditions.

. X4 M- r! ]7 ~9 `3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

0 k; o4 K* Y, O! W% \4) Must be physically capable.

5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general  
public.
