DOORPERSON (RATT)

JOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
- M( ~3 I  \; J. w; j( V' a(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
8 Y8 Q7 z, B* f! L0 opolicies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
and are University affiliated.

+ i! X; q7 f1 ~2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.

8 k1 A7 z1 z8 ~& j6 C7 i3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
of garbage.

3 W5 T) b# c: N0 N" v; T4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
7 P/ v( }  z& u& kconsumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

4 p% W& Q' o3 k5 M) _6 S4 N8 p, o5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
area when required.

6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
Manager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

5 d/ a9 n" i7 s6 G) ~* M6 `- I+ C1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

4 b- {8 }+ j. E# I  g/ h( b; `6 `2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
of patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
calmly under extremely stressful conditions.

3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

public.
