Position Abstract: The Executive Director provides day-to-day management

non-voting member and champions youth volunteerism in Alberta. The ED6 e3 e6 I( F) E* M% M I
works within the structures set by the organization's bylaws and

% s9 a1 N D* Y; HPrimary Responsibilities: Helps Board of Directors in developing a4 v9 l3 f6 D& A5 n& I" c
vision & strategic plan; Establish strong relationships & collaborative
. n. P6 \( {* S2 L. ~& Varrangements with community groups, sponsors, governments, schools,6 ?% u: M8 l0 i& I# f8 D
media/other stakeholders to achieve the goals of AYV!; Prepare reports; j: M! \. A5 g$ e5 @8 I6 s3 c
for the Board; Assist the Board in drafting policies/prepare procedures

PLUS: Ensure good record keeping; Ensure funders' grants are stewarded' M5 j* @) t6 G+ d* k! N7 y8 c- g
as per their requirements; Plan, implement and evaluate programs and

In addition: Prepare budget; Search & secure adequate; oversees the

the funds of the organization & monitor the monthly cash flow; Ensure

payable; Develop communication/marketing tools to increase awareness of

0 G/ @0 L: E8 RKey Qualifications: Experience working with a number of different groups
