0 p; B5 D) N! \6 @/ G* W1. Serve as a key business and licensing role within a cross-functional team for identification, evaluation and licensing of strategically important technologies. 5 ~* C: q! C b, d. w: m+ x! r' h( p: r
2. Manage technology alliance activities, including the coordination of appropriate agreements’ execution, alliance negotiations, and post-deal compliance in China.

3 v' a; Y1 [) @" V) l. SPERSONAL ATTRIBUTES AND COMPETENCIES:$ B! k6 f) Y9 B J2 T
* T0 M0 Q0 ?, ~" e" V3 A t d( a1. MBA and/or advanced scientific degree in agricultural biotechnology related fields (such as plant molecular, cellular and developmental biology, genomics, and plant genetics, bioinformatics, etc.) are highly desirable.
' @, {' R7 V3 g1 y8 f7 g+ j: y' H( m2. Proven experience in technology identification and licensing within China, or equivalent experience with biotechnology research and commercial licensing agreements is preferred.
8 W. P' Q' u+ J3 Q7 m3. Working knowledge of Intellectual Property policies, including Chinese and international patent regulations and procedures would be advantageous.
/ S$ }( J& g' P" Q8 t& p$ F& v4. Productive business and scientific interactions and good relationships with major biotechnology institutes in China would be advantageous. M7 h' S5 }* R
5. Able to work independently as well as cooperatively in a cross-functional and multi-cultural environment. 1 x4 \% N* R# g0 y& W
6. Strong written and spoken communication skills in both English and Chinese.
