KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

1. Serve as a key business and licensing role within a cross-functional team for identification, evaluation and licensing of strategically important technologies. : _3 a1 J# Q/ u
2. Manage technology alliance activities, including the coordination of appropriate agreements’ execution, alliance negotiations, and post-deal compliance in China. * E- V, B3 ^1 D7 T- w6 M8 O
3. Develop business plan and strategy to integrate new technology into existing global research and business platforms. 1 B0 ~) l, L$ P
. V7 l% Y% X( R @* h9 J2 h2 H8 R0 [! IPERSONAL ATTRIBUTES AND COMPETENCIES:! w5 X! z7 [4 l

1. MBA and/or advanced scientific degree in agricultural biotechnology related fields (such as plant molecular, cellular and developmental biology, genomics, and plant genetics, bioinformatics, etc.) are highly desirable. % u4 ^$ h9 \3 V
2. Proven experience in technology identification and licensing within China, or equivalent experience with biotechnology research and commercial licensing agreements is preferred.9 [! F$ |2 F$ Y* T5 b* @9 z
3. Working knowledge of Intellectual Property policies, including Chinese and international patent regulations and procedures would be advantageous.
+ O6 f0 J: p- X# G. @4. Productive business and scientific interactions and good relationships with major biotechnology institutes in China would be advantageous.
q7 ^" {8 v3 ]& E4 b; J5. Able to work independently as well as cooperatively in a cross-functional and multi-cultural environment.
