ACTION FOR HEALTHY COMMUNITIES (AHC) is recruiting students (preferably members of a visible minority community and/or of a Disability community) for the following summer position: Community Initiatives Documenter. We are a non-profit community development organization operating in central Edmonton. We promote community inclusion as a strategy for increasing citizenship participation and action. . `; R- c; {% Z& d( x- ^" f

The CI Documenter will contact and meet leaders of 30 Community Initiatives (mini-projects) to discuss and document their progress to date, facilitate a planning process for each CI to sustain their outcomes, and create a final document analyzing CI trends, strengths, learnings and plans.0 m' J0 J+ | `6 C& ?1 D

Education Background: Health Promotion, Sociology, or related Social/Human Sciences field.

3. Good organizational and verbal and written communication skills.
