JOB SUMMARY: Responsible to and under the general supervision of the 0 G" B: t& e( B' n
Operations Manager, the Bartender is responsible for carrying out the 7 |3 b8 X4 l8 `. D% Q* D
procedures necessary to maintain a high standard of customer service, 3 D8 j1 W) N. F) E
cleanliness and order in the bar.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
" C3 W5 ^: R$ _, k. g- s, e1) Provides service to Servers and customers by dispensing food and

" D2 z& J+ r( i. J9 F2) Responsible for handling cash for the products sold, and for the 7 i$ U- R: x3 { g/ ~3 T. v
bar and debit floats.

3) Opens and closes the bar - counts floats and sales at the end of

1 E9 N- V+ d5 B& _9 {4) Cleanliness of all areas, supplies and equipment, with particular

J! J1 [* v+ `seating, tables and chairs and surrounding floor surfaces.

5) Receives orders from suppliers, rotating stock as required in
A1 {0 H4 i1 Pstorage areas. Restocks kegs, back-bar beer coolers and all alcohol
: g8 c% Y! N/ y8 v7 fproducts, serving supplies and condiments at the end of each shift., ?7 W. ?6 f% s- C, K

6) Supervision of staff, with particular attention to close - M9 n0 _+ \9 ?: G+ D9 Y
monitoring of Servers to ensure that customers consistently receive a
& B1 ^7 A3 j4 K; |4 Q! a$ ohigh level of customer service offered with a positive attitude in
& X' c0 B; x. s& @9 h/ naccordance with Students' Union policies.' q h( }7 x; P% Q

7) Training part-time staff in a manner consistent with maintaining a

1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent., B0 ?. h" k f
( A0 R) K3 m) u. y0 V3 A& O, L5 x6 H2) Minimum of two years experience bartending in a high-volume
( B6 a/ F ~( `, y. I5 \ Boperation.9 p8 M: Q& ~+ X& Q. j8 L+ `/ A
& h( @7 ]0 |4 M5 Y3) Excellent work habits, appearance, personal hygiene and dress in
