Hours per week will be 20 - 30 - 20 during the first few weeks, then 30

the student to stay on a casual basis (10 - 20 hours per week) once the

- O/ K }8 C$ A: Z# ZCIBS to secure and schedule various program requirements (off-campus
; V4 N) {' H9 Svenues, tour agents, goods and services, program materials and supplies,& X2 ~4 Z3 a0 @ |, Q7 N8 `4 j. Y
etc.); reproducing and distributing documents and correspondence for
8 X( V% @9 j w4 I; j" O# K4 v- \. n. wparticipants, assisting to orient participants to the University and
3 b1 D* s; ^; u% @their program on their arrival, and trouble-shooting for them during
0 H6 Y2 a8 {5 C7 ytheir program; booking program venues, setting up for sessions,) [- E: M3 a. g# `$ J3 a7 E
assisting visiting speakers or invited session presenters, striking

outings or site visits, or, occasionally, on overnight out-of-city5 j. V+ @; ~/ |, e6 Q- s6 W* y
excursions (does not involve driving or overnight week night

functions; translating, revising or drafting program-related documents

9 F. t% x7 T# T- I' k. @$ G; QQualifications include: senior undergrad student; coursework in
s( e& r1 E9 S: u) JCommerce, Education or Economics preferred, ability to communicate+ H! o5 z% o, J- B) r
fluently (oral and written) in English and Mandarin Chinese,0 O% ]3 R' Y3 a
demonstrates a high-level of self organization, initiative to undertake
. d7 \: c$ g# M0 {# Ba variety of tasks; ability to coordinate individual efforts with those
" j+ @! @4 R' Kof co-workers, excellent interpersonal organization and time-management, ~0 w% z6 i- i9 u6 E! B) _
skills; accuracy to detail; working knowledge of MS applications (Word,
/ w! m* y; r) r# u: a, q" l: }: M( QExcel, PowerPoint and Outlook); administrative experience an asset,8 F2 y3 D) B0 z5 C( C+ U- E
experience coordinating group activities an asset.
