the student to stay on a casual basis (10 - 20 hours per week) once the

Duties include: preparing for programs by working with current staff at- H) [4 ~- T5 y2 Q+ x0 @' x3 E
CIBS to secure and schedule various program requirements (off-campus
# N f# O6 A* h# S+ k* ?. D0 }venues, tour agents, goods and services, program materials and supplies,
( W3 D; m" a Z& h- c' s. M8 Netc.); reproducing and distributing documents and correspondence for. T: |. O ]. p6 e0 ?2 y) U
participants, assisting to orient participants to the University and' G R" ]) O' { H/ j% \& L8 D
their program on their arrival, and trouble-shooting for them during
) ], ^* Q# [3 T" ^( Ftheir program; booking program venues, setting up for sessions,. n- N8 g% D1 a/ J8 C
assisting visiting speakers or invited session presenters, striking. d% ]7 h3 r* W3 @
venue at end of session; traveling as guide with groups on in-city
/ r) F. x3 Q: I2 D- W. y+ poutings or site visits, or, occasionally, on overnight out-of-city. M1 ]+ L2 `0 Q3 H, O* P2 b
excursions (does not involve driving or overnight week night
$ V6 M* k2 C E& h% z+ F8 vexcursions); interpreting (non-technical exchanges) at meetings or# m2 J# U i/ G6 H( ?3 M* U

such as schedules, itineraries, notices, correspondence, PowerPoint

) K3 `, H9 ~& V, p3 |Qualifications include: senior undergrad student; coursework in8 v$ D; T* _# z4 x5 v$ _( h2 o
Commerce, Education or Economics preferred, ability to communicate- \0 w- |( c" [/ s
fluently (oral and written) in English and Mandarin Chinese,
3 ]+ Q: }+ m2 }( zdemonstrates a high-level of self organization, initiative to undertake
; p/ |4 K& j) [ }; ba variety of tasks; ability to coordinate individual efforts with those, O3 t# O J5 y" g
of co-workers, excellent interpersonal organization and time-management
3 {9 q+ v9 |; S& U7 h Y' ]skills; accuracy to detail; working knowledge of MS applications (Word,1 R+ ~2 w) G) i- t
Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook); administrative experience an asset,! d: B$ n u7 m( a& ~2 J
