Duties include: working closely with graduate students and research
technicians, the candidate will work on the synthesis of intermediates
for use in chemical and biochemical research. Particular duties will
6 C( f- U- m. O9 ~( {4 Rinclude carrying out chemical and/or enzymatic reactions and purifying
compounds by chromatography.

Qualifications include successful completion of courses in organic
3 V! S3 t4 Q4 f/ g0 KChemistry (Chemistry 263 or equivalent) and ideally biochemistry and
' V/ Q: a" f% l, B0 Z4 t: C. _' lanalytical chemistry; familiarity with basic biology and chromatographic
6 s2 P. }( [2 N! x- l  I. B6 ^' \& useparations important. Attention to detail and ability to work as part
of a team essential.
This position will provide the candidate with experience in biochemical
% \& J1 e1 e, w5 t/ b2 Y3 n+ ]and chemical research and would be ideal for students who ultimately
