# D$ ~( }9 W, L1 IDuties include: working closely with graduate students and research
technicians, the candidate will work on the synthesis of intermediates
1 M4 d: N( ]: o7 h1 M. m  hfor use in chemical and biochemical research. Particular duties will
include carrying out chemical and/or enzymatic reactions and purifying
# b, [- D9 ?8 [' K7 v. D4 @: `- rcompounds by chromatography.

Qualifications include successful completion of courses in organic
Chemistry (Chemistry 263 or equivalent) and ideally biochemistry and
# Q8 L. R; G& R% Y8 y( w! Hanalytical chemistry; familiarity with basic biology and chromatographic
separations important. Attention to detail and ability to work as part
of a team essential.
This position will provide the candidate with experience in biochemical
and chemical research and would be ideal for students who ultimately
) I6 t" y8 Q* E9 C$ r0 ahope to work in these areas.
