Job Summary:
" I& M; }8 \ i- J2 M+ N) hThe Non-ferrous laborer must be able to properly identify and sort non-ferrous metals. Applies knowledge of non-ferrous metals to properly identify materials when interacting with customers. Prepares non-ferrous materials for transport. Both indoor and outdoor, fast-paced setting.; d; p& _7 y4 R" Q$ c

Monday – Friday 11 am-7 pm/ h3 y2 G* G" \3 v5 V5 a

2 I/ H/ U$ {- f) X' M" k
Must be able to sort, process, grade non-ferrous materials
6 }& V' C5 h/ |4 R' P7 T8 g ~Inspects material for hazardous waste and grades different types of non-ferrous materials
+ K8 `1 T) {# F! u: `, {4 GLoads and unloads non-ferrous material o0 y5 w* t4 N% E# U. x; d& q j
Must be able to work safely at all times6 s$ i/ A! C" E9 G* G
Be able to effectively perform tasks independently& t# {: F5 m2 B$ F: L
Performs routine housekeeping.
k# S4 o3 M6 a( @1 V- wObserves and reports any safety issues4 {, H4 v3 Q, R) v( ]

Well-articulated and assertive! h0 ^$ Y' E( i4 R6 U
Ability to effectively communicate and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors, maintenance personnel and other employees of the organization. D7 f# Z! {6 v! @, y
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
