The Non-ferrous laborer must be able to properly identify and sort non-ferrous metals. Applies knowledge of non-ferrous metals to properly identify materials when interacting with customers. Prepares non-ferrous materials for transport. Both indoor and outdoor, fast-paced setting.

Must be able to sort, process, grade non-ferrous materials4 d5 F; D: f. o) A3 F4 i
Inspects material for hazardous waste and grades different types of non-ferrous materials

Be able to effectively perform tasks independently

Observes and reports any safety issues

Metal recycling industry experience is an asset

/ l! R( M* r. ]& F8 P% M6 YHigh school diploma (Or GED)

u# U. Y$ C# q5 h9 XAbility to effectively communicate and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors, maintenance personnel and other employees of the organization

Ability to write simple correspondence
