MadeFresh Foods Inc. is a fresh food manufacturer providing high-quality ready-to-eat food to your local grocery store.   MadeFresh Foods Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician for a part time position in Edmonton, AB.
Brief Job Description:  Reporting to QA Manager, the main duty for the QA technician is to ensure all products conform to regulatory and food safety standards.  
. F# g+ Z' ~# V, o, d5 oDuties and Responsibilities:
1. Shelf-life testing/environmental Swabbing
2. Maintain and verify QA and production records
+ s6 M$ _  c9 D- s! o+ {3. Monitoring and Verification of all CCPs
6 m7 e. f- A6 [( X" G4. Calibration of Equipment
5. GMP and other Food Safety trainings
6. Monitor production process and employees’ GMP practices
7. Other duties as assigned
Skills and specifications:
% m% I  b. f+ \1 `- o5 C1. University or Diploma in Food Technology/Food Science
2. Knowledge in Food Safety and Quality Program (HACCP, Prerequisite Program and GMP)
3. Bilingual (Cantonese and English) is an asset
8 h/ E" b: P4 Y+ K% U! h4. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment but also be able to work in a team environment
