The procurement officer is responsible for:
-        Identifying and serving the needs of each business department
-        Sourcing and evaluating local, national or international suppliers
) D( r4 A: S3 G-        Negotiating terms, conditions and contracts
, m' l% g2 W: a/ x-        Building and managing supplier relationships
' w# x! f3 x$ G4 m5 W-        Performing cost savings and profit margin analyses
# H% {5 k( N, s
2 Z$ t, `$ V* F5 j# K0 |Requirements:
- Sound research skills
8 _8 ?# v- H+ }2 D# G: O. ~- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Friendly and outgoing personality
( n- J" `6 U' M2 p- Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Cycle counting and adjusting experience preferred  
- Experience with mechanical parts, welding materials, PPE and consumables for the construction industry is an asset
- Experience with Inventory control is an asset
