This position is an important role in the company where the successful candidate will lead the strategic sourcing of all required products and services.

The procurement officer is responsible for:
-        Identifying and serving the needs of each business department
, {5 s1 e+ c, Y6 C( |) r-        Sourcing and evaluating local, national or international suppliers
% h8 K; _# e6 M9 V5 y-        Negotiating terms, conditions and contracts
/ F/ k- G' p# i. m-        Building and managing supplier relationships
: ?. ]/ v7 n) S8 X: H-        Performing cost savings and profit margin analyses

Requirements:
/ b0 W7 M* N, d4 R- Sound research skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
! Q% g# G* ~4 C/ k- Strong organization and time management skills
- Friendly and outgoing personality
- Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Cycle counting and adjusting experience preferred  
( ~3 I8 e" `% M2 a9 _! X- Experience with mechanical parts, welding materials, PPE and consumables for the construction industry is an asset
9 D/ {" z) t) A% S- Experience with Inventory control is an asset
