Procurement Officer Needed

CAC is seeking for a full-time procurement officer to join our team.

This position is an important role in the company where the successful candidate will lead the strategic sourcing of all required products and services.

/ d$ p8 S: d2 e: t4 FThe procurement officer is responsible for:
-        Identifying and serving the needs of each business department
-        Sourcing and evaluating local, national or international suppliers
' d* t% R3 H/ ~$ P-        Negotiating terms, conditions and contracts
: _0 F) q, x; M& @-        Building and managing supplier relationships
  M" k( B$ Q* z* b/ c7 D8 v% j-        Performing cost savings and profit margin analyses

6 I" ^* ^: y" @8 t5 E' @Requirements:
- Sound research skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong organization and time management skills
* g9 K5 V3 y/ ]0 z6 l- Friendly and outgoing personality
- Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Cycle counting and adjusting experience preferred  
7 _; H9 T! S6 N8 J- |( n# {% Q9 m- Experience with mechanical parts, welding materials, PPE and consumables for the construction industry is an asset
; z8 z* Y, U2 Y) \# F- Experience with Inventory control is an asset
