This position is an important role in the company where the successful candidate will lead the strategic sourcing of all required products and services.

0 i/ D3 c7 R+ f% w( v  f0 N' V$ aThe procurement officer is responsible for:
-        Identifying and serving the needs of each business department
-        Sourcing and evaluating local, national or international suppliers
-        Negotiating terms, conditions and contracts
-        Building and managing supplier relationships
" O9 w, B! m0 {8 p  ~, r-        Performing cost savings and profit margin analyses

Requirements:
- Sound research skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Friendly and outgoing personality
- Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
3 [! [2 _3 T  r5 E: |: M8 I- Cycle counting and adjusting experience preferred  
- Experience with mechanical parts, welding materials, PPE and consumables for the construction industry is an asset
- Experience with Inventory control is an asset
