The procurement officer is responsible for:
9 e6 r: R* O7 y/ e2 k; K+ I-        Identifying and serving the needs of each business department
; w* v& f, Q: g: O+ B-        Sourcing and evaluating local, national or international suppliers
  V6 H4 l" p" @-        Negotiating terms, conditions and contracts
. l" K8 h) V! h1 I-        Building and managing supplier relationships
-        Performing cost savings and profit margin analyses
# e+ H3 Y2 z" A0 N
Requirements:
9 l! O- y* v* a: ^3 G( f- Sound research skills
+ l- h& \6 B1 H* o- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
0 L4 i- L4 }! }5 q0 F  C- Strong organization and time management skills
- Friendly and outgoing personality
+ M- {" a6 c1 W5 m5 t- h) N% d5 R- Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
$ f7 k2 c8 H  S6 O/ V- Cycle counting and adjusting experience preferred  
- Experience with mechanical parts, welding materials, PPE and consumables for the construction industry is an asset
- Experience with Inventory control is an asset
