Sun Life to retire Clarica name

Clarica was introduced in 1999 by Mutual life of Canada, and was acquired by Sun Life three years later.
0 Y) H) J+ W; {2 M1 @- O1 I4 G4 E hThere are almost two million Clarica policy- and accountholders in Canada, said Sun Life. Clarica also has a sales force of about 3,500.

0 k5 G2 }0 t& G* jThe company said the changes will be completed by the first quarter of 2008. Sun Life will incur a $40-million to $50-million charge in the first quarter of 2007.
