As a Shift Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the Reclamation and Pond Operations facilities on a shift basis. Other job duties include:
1 @3 g- H7 h" [6 z& {0 f1 z9 I$ }
2 h9 C3 C" u$ {2 N3 _$ k" [- Supervising Shift personnel to ensure reclamation operating targets are achieved. 1 R! t* P6 ?% s6 S
- Developing and implementing programs focused on the optimization and continuous improvement of the operating plants. 3 \1 t/ U) D+ o% M P5 A
- Ensuring effective on-shift training and progression qualification for operators. 9 f* y* ^# Y7 b) {7 u
- Developing and revising applicable standards and procedures.
% a( v1 y1 a- O: ?+ |+ \( o- Ensuring a structured approach to managing safety performance and environmental diligence. ( K3 l Y# S. i/ Y
- Ensuring effective communications within the Reclamation Operating Group as well as with other departments, and with other operating groups (Extraction).

- Previous supervisory experience
+ S) ^3 g1 G* V) G/ r- Strong leadership skills
2 U) M; Y/ c* y; i- A minimum of grade 12 diploma 2 V/ x9 e) O; i4 ^; c' {
- High motivation with good interpersonal, communication, planning and organizational skills & u: I- B9 _$ n0 j% O
- Several years experience related to large materials processing plant or dredging operations
9 ^/ a, }2 K, p- A good working knowledge of OH & S regulations and thorough understanding of Loss Management techniques.& X, d5 t" C, i4 g) P
