6 g$ n. G/ W( NAs a Shift Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the Reclamation and Pond Operations facilities on a shift basis. Other job duties include:

7 O e4 w) l, ]( e+ s* x- Supervising Shift personnel to ensure reclamation operating targets are achieved.
1 h3 ]7 A! G% r0 X' F$ ]- Developing and implementing programs focused on the optimization and continuous improvement of the operating plants. " d6 x& X& u i
- Ensuring effective on-shift training and progression qualification for operators. ^6 u. c; |0 R; F
- Developing and revising applicable standards and procedures.
+ ~, L. T& u8 J1 Z# n5 U5 A' A- Ensuring a structured approach to managing safety performance and environmental diligence. 8 a4 k* Y% ?8 B" ~* F
- Ensuring effective communications within the Reclamation Operating Group as well as with other departments, and with other operating groups (Extraction).
/ m2 m& Z2 p, r/ T- Managing shift expense budgets. ; w% D" V) g; f% {# D

- Previous supervisory experience
3 I8 E; g! I4 l) m7 f9 D- Strong leadership skills
3 \; H! l. [* U- A minimum of grade 12 diploma , c1 v: Y- q* @" m
- High motivation with good interpersonal, communication, planning and organizational skills # ?0 H" N, s3 N+ D7 T
- Several years experience related to large materials processing plant or dredging operations & r# z" \4 k5 U- y* E
- A good working knowledge of OH & S regulations and thorough understanding of Loss Management techniques.0 O8 N1 c( x; W% U( Y
