As a Shift Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the Reclamation and Pond Operations facilities on a shift basis. Other job duties include:

- Supervising Shift personnel to ensure reclamation operating targets are achieved.
: Z3 Y/ }0 U. O$ P- Developing and implementing programs focused on the optimization and continuous improvement of the operating plants.
- E6 [2 X3 g$ k7 q: J5 n; S4 S9 m2 Q- w- Ensuring effective on-shift training and progression qualification for operators.
3 S  j0 q2 v, O8 G- Developing and revising applicable standards and procedures.
- Ensuring a structured approach to managing safety performance and environmental diligence.
- Ensuring effective communications within the Reclamation Operating Group as well as with other departments, and with other operating groups (Extraction).
- Managing shift expense budgets.

Experience and Education Requirements

- Previous supervisory experience
4 g. z( L2 {4 a/ @( K5 c' K/ A- Strong leadership skills
# o2 z0 C* C9 k! A- A minimum of grade 12 diploma
- High motivation with good interpersonal, communication, planning and organizational skills
- Several years experience related to large materials processing plant or dredging operations
- A good working knowledge of OH & S regulations and thorough understanding of Loss Management techniques.
