8 x* Z0 M7 H- W# @As a Shift Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the Reclamation and Pond Operations facilities on a shift basis. Other job duties include:

: w( M! R- }. d" f- [6 G; m c3 T- Supervising Shift personnel to ensure reclamation operating targets are achieved.
8 I" o6 h/ A" Z2 l- Developing and implementing programs focused on the optimization and continuous improvement of the operating plants.
5 _; Q* k" D* J# W- Ensuring effective on-shift training and progression qualification for operators. 9 }( s/ W. y2 d$ h- b6 Q2 n
- Developing and revising applicable standards and procedures. ! ^* R; z' n; B) ]2 T7 z. p
- Ensuring a structured approach to managing safety performance and environmental diligence. / d1 x! {& L- x1 V m f
- Ensuring effective communications within the Reclamation Operating Group as well as with other departments, and with other operating groups (Extraction).

/ a( T7 P& |( C3 v- A minimum of grade 12 diploma . P' [; e# q- z
- High motivation with good interpersonal, communication, planning and organizational skills + G# z/ ?# O( s' H. J0 \# H
- Several years experience related to large materials processing plant or dredging operations
) \6 Z9 ]" S7 L$ h0 x3 @ B- A good working knowledge of OH & S regulations and thorough understanding of Loss Management techniques.' k& ^& C) K" P ~0 _/ N/ B
