As a Shift Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the Reclamation and Pond Operations facilities on a shift basis. Other job duties include:

" w. [4 f% |! h' Z9 F4 P- Supervising Shift personnel to ensure reclamation operating targets are achieved.
& I9 E* Y/ G u t- Developing and implementing programs focused on the optimization and continuous improvement of the operating plants.
* {' ?( Z& B4 h1 W. _- Ensuring effective on-shift training and progression qualification for operators.
, C# e- F; T; b( X0 F( ^# |- Developing and revising applicable standards and procedures.
& T% I+ r; s/ X4 X- Ensuring a structured approach to managing safety performance and environmental diligence.
0 g' D' q% J: Z! w( t) ~( R9 _6 j8 P- Ensuring effective communications within the Reclamation Operating Group as well as with other departments, and with other operating groups (Extraction). 0 W4 }" K; t7 V1 R0 J8 V6 u
- Managing shift expense budgets.

. n) T: I X5 P( b3 I- Previous supervisory experience
( }- [3 f8 c: [& f6 o- Strong leadership skills
) g% U% R* l$ K: Y- A minimum of grade 12 diploma
! |3 u9 l4 y ^ d$ z. } o2 D- High motivation with good interpersonal, communication, planning and organizational skills
# x+ l5 b9 _0 \+ W9 v- Several years experience related to large materials processing plant or dredging operations % d, X$ a( q' Z& ~ [9 F b0 s9 V; [6 `
- A good working knowledge of OH & S regulations and thorough understanding of Loss Management techniques.% H3 h2 \; [& r" T4 I4 c# Q( z
