在这里学会了做很多吃食, 现在向大家介绍一种面包, 很适合我们(至少我和家人)的口味, 也很容易做. 有时我会加一点全麦粉来替换白面, 再加一些燕麦, 更有营养. 可以手工做或用面包机. 如用面包机, 量一定要掌握好.也可以做成一个一个的小圆面包.

Honey Bread

4 + 1/2 CUPS ALL PURPOSE FLOUR

1/3 cup nonfat dry milk9 t# D9 d( Z7 [0 O
1 teaspoon salt
9 q1 M6 i% k' n* N8 t1/2 cup pineapple juice
& g2 q- d+ b" A9 T1/2 cup water
& D1 j% }+ @/ D0 G. x7 K1/3 cup shortening9 ~7 h: p9 I, w& g6 b
1/4 cup honey
* t0 K7 ]% H8 P5 }- ?1 k$ O2 eggs$ G* I; ~) @+ h [/ p# Q5 J# E
1 drop yellow food coloring, if desired9 r0 s) m s1 B! [! i4 _( o! \* v4 `

In a large mixer bowl, combine 2 + 1/4 cups flour, yeast, dry milk and
, g7 F' e% e* t- t. |salt; mix well. Heat pineapple juice
3 N0 o6 n) g( z/ |1 H8 ^6 B! v/ w, 1/2 cup water, shortening and honey until very warm (120 degree) ;

/ v' ~$ Q( s# [! O# aAdd to flour mixture, add 2 eggs and food coloring. Blend at low speed& P% @0 v& l* B. r/ R6 S' H: l9 X
until moistened, beat 3 minutes at medium speed. By hand, gradually 9 Z6 x, \- I! _6 t D
stir
$ a! u: r G+ lin enough remaining flour to make a soft dough. Knead on floured

. X5 A" I' ^& e9 e* }: _until smooth and elastic, about 5 minutes. Place in greased bowl,
- t: {6 m& w( v, Tturning to grease top. Cover ; let rise in warm place 15 to 20 minutes, v. Y8 |! F! l$ L% l( q9 i
(30 minutes for active Dry Yeast).+ P2 Q! y+ p# E) B4 h' f5 M
1 t t5 ~+ C1 ^Punch down dough. On lightly floured surface, shape into a round loaf.
0 }$ r5 L9 Y. K- A& hPlace in greased 9 to 10-inch pie pan. Cover; let rise in warm place

to 20 minutes (30 minutes for active dry yeast). combine one slightly1 ]( f6 x% S% S1 j( k. K8 v P4 i
beaten egg and 1 tablespoon water; brush loaf. Bake at 375 degree

35 to 40 minutes until golden brown. Remove from pan; cool. |
