In accordance with the Edmonton Chinatown Care Centre’s mission vision and values, the Chief Executive officer will lead the organization focusing on the following objectives:

Lead the organization towards the excellence in resident care and quality of life for Seniors
+ o" s+ d/ i; \9 w+ n* W$ s# T! |Adhere to the highest standards of organizational management and fiscal responsibility Build networks, alliances and partnerships
Achieve and maintain accreditation standards
8 Y+ Z- w6 H+ O. u8 |5 D, Q. X- o2 f& qEngage and collaborate with all internal and external stakeholders
, C8 x0 X4 E& m9 m( b+ W# B: U- BBe accountable for decision and actions
! F1 p# M/ Z: u$ S$ fMitigate risk to the organization.

" Y9 `5 U9 I" `+ s
A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university, or a combination of management, health and/or public administration courses and related experience is required.
. v3 g% d* p) _+ W, Q" `• A Master’s degree is preferred in a related discipline
9 U' O( P7 x+ Z  g1 _Experience:

Demonstrated involvement with Board’s of Directors.
Public speaking and crisp writing skills are essential.
Senior’s housing, long-term care, supportive living and homecare in a position of leadership.

Current or past Member of a professional organization (regionally, nationally or international).
0 j: K# R; n7 G; `
Current or past Member of a Community Provincial, National or International organization.
2 b1 I: r- R. fMaintains current membership within statutory bodies and organizations in or outside the
Center objectives.
