In accordance with the Edmonton Chinatown Care Centre’s mission vision and values, the Chief Executive officer will lead the organization focusing on the following objectives:

Lead the organization towards the excellence in resident care and quality of life for Seniors
% d/ V" I3 {) Q0 g1 i; E+ ?Adhere to the highest standards of organizational management and fiscal responsibility Build networks, alliances and partnerships
Achieve and maintain accreditation standards
Engage and collaborate with all internal and external stakeholders
3 q; d" ^3 O4 d' y/ w1 @Be accountable for decision and actions
Mitigate risk to the organization.
Education:
; L7 s9 i- I8 x5 d! k* t2 r0 ?& [
; _' ^" ~7 q) h0 _4 ]6 LA minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university, or a combination of management, health and/or public administration courses and related experience is required.
• A Master’s degree is preferred in a related discipline
Experience:
$ O+ L( c; j$ I' W
! a- y8 \! u! K. T+ Q8 x& yDemonstrated involvement with Board’s of Directors.
" {6 Y; n; [+ T7 o. ~& DPublic speaking and crisp writing skills are essential.
/ x' m0 Q! d3 ISenior’s housing, long-term care, supportive living and homecare in a position of leadership.

0 q; H, p' ^0 ?5 iCurrent or past Member of a professional organization (regionally, nationally or international).

' H( Q& P, q2 f, p; B0 TCurrent or past Member of a Community Provincial, National or International organization.
% a) G* d: I) ^' P* i4 nMaintains current membership within statutory bodies and organizations in or outside the
Center objectives.
