In accordance with the Edmonton Chinatown Care Centre’s mission vision and values, the Chief Executive officer will lead the organization focusing on the following objectives:

) A( W+ ?! W" i. d8 g: E# kLead the organization towards the excellence in resident care and quality of life for Seniors
Adhere to the highest standards of organizational management and fiscal responsibility Build networks, alliances and partnerships
4 d% o5 A8 a, g% N# z" \4 wAchieve and maintain accreditation standards
Engage and collaborate with all internal and external stakeholders
Be accountable for decision and actions
  ~2 R6 ]' \0 [& |# a3 F4 q4 \% F- XMitigate risk to the organization.

0 o$ L7 [5 e$ N! u
A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university, or a combination of management, health and/or public administration courses and related experience is required.
% A, R& ~  w5 \8 G: q8 y• A Master’s degree is preferred in a related discipline
Experience:
/ k3 u/ i; K8 ?- b0 v+ k* A
" N" M* e! N  ]" g# N$ r& zDemonstrated involvement with Board’s of Directors.
# k( i  x) v# rPublic speaking and crisp writing skills are essential.
. _% P6 W  d  u" pSenior’s housing, long-term care, supportive living and homecare in a position of leadership.
! n6 ?! S: [& P: X: nProfessional:

/ A- b- b& @7 d: W) b$ kCurrent or past Member of a professional organization (regionally, nationally or international).

; h1 Z& [  }+ X9 SCurrent or past Member of a Community Provincial, National or International organization.
; I% r6 C$ A* Y9 R& |) o6 b# XMaintains current membership within statutory bodies and organizations in or outside the
5 a! @& Z% J4 @/ BCenter objectives.
