RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THIS POSITION:8 I( Y- F8 q+ q9 H% C
• Provide tier 2-3 support for network issues for technologies such as but not limited to: k# ~, g! G" R7 R
o Microsoft Windows NT 4.0, 2000, XP, 2003$ T0 H9 a" n- L! D3 z- v, G
o Microsoft Exchange 5.5, 2000, 2003
& e# T0 f* _1 O* p% Z/ s o Microsoft SQL Server 7, 20009 C: y' j) W& Y
o Microsoft SMS 2, 2003 B" o# e8 g" R3 f/ U' `. \5 v
o Microsoft Operations Manager6 Z0 U6 Y( P: ?7 c) l" O* \8 O
o VMWare Virtual Server solutions
6 b$ R3 G) h+ W# d9 A$ H/ T o Linux based operating systems
% Q% p! L( f# N" F7 y' o o Sun Solaris operating systems
8 l: ?3 E+ S9 I$ `/ V ^; k2 b o Advanced level and hands-on knowledge of Cisco IOS, VoIP, and security knowledge and configuration experience
: d2 b, T' @7 L• Provide network solutions and recommendations to customer inquires regarding Anti-Virus, Email & Collaboration, Network Security, Migration Strategy, Disaster Recovery…etc.
$ e' K6 c& ~" r9 v. L• Proper and detailed documentation of all support and project related calls
1 u$ z( J) J; k, K: P• Administration, architecting, and technical support experience on the Microsoft Windows
; v1 y9 l& N8 c m3 v8 aplatform, Microsoft Exchange 5.5 – 2003 platform, Citrix Metaframe platform, Microsoft
}5 @4 V0 K' k3 N6 _3 USMS platform, Microsoft IIS platform, Microsoft DNS and Microsoft Active Directory…etc.- ^; I4 `5 k7 Z" E' `0 K8 c
• Advanced Cisco routing and switching and/or firewall configurations4 o& O! s" f1 i' q8 ^) o0 E

• 5 – 8 years hands-on IT experience8 x- B/ w. S: {$ {

• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple medium sized projects

• Advanced TCP/IP and internetworking protocol knowledge

' }: m5 k8 @' u: `% z• Advanced technical and hands-on expertise in Microsoft Windows-based migration projects in 800-1500 seat size of multiple domain, sites, and active directory.
: k' Q* R k6 N1 `" B. M% |4 ?• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Group Policy, DFS, Windows Security, Virtual Server, SharePoint Server, Exchange Server 5.5, 2000, and 2005! l: H) Z+ F; P3 R
• Have 4+ years of network design experience6 Y _9 b1 U; F, c9 ^' I) ?3 w2 E
• Have led medium to large sized projects
9 ~) o4 m: |" Z• A valid Alberta driver’s license is mandatory
