% F& ]3 o5 K0 _0 u: u+ i# TRESPONSIBILITIES FOR THIS POSITION:
• Provide tier 2-3 support for network issues for technologies such as but not limited to:
  [: _$ C% W( z1 p) x   o Microsoft Windows NT 4.0, 2000, XP, 2003
   o Microsoft Exchange 5.5, 2000, 2003
   o Microsoft SQL Server 7, 2000
   o Microsoft SMS 2, 2003
   o Microsoft Operations Manager
" J- V$ X1 c# v% u9 G9 i   o VMWare Virtual Server solutions
6 t" V1 a. e) t' u5 f# J   o Linux based operating systems
' C3 R! n: ^. Y/ x- V   o Sun Solaris operating systems
   o Advanced level and hands-on knowledge of Cisco IOS, VoIP, and security knowledge and configuration experience
• Provide network solutions and recommendations to customer inquires regarding Anti-Virus, Email & Collaboration, Network Security, Migration Strategy, Disaster Recovery…etc.
• Proper and detailed documentation of all support and project related calls
* E; e+ @# b; s# @3 w, X2 j• Administration, architecting, and technical support experience on the Microsoft Windows
& s* T( X3 B7 D  J6 {3 g" Tplatform, Microsoft Exchange 5.5 – 2003 platform, Citrix Metaframe platform, Microsoft
& r& V* [2 ~% _& R( S+ o; i# kSMS platform, Microsoft IIS platform, Microsoft DNS and Microsoft Active Directory…etc.
4 T1 W- S7 P" U( T1 ~7 n• Advanced Cisco routing and switching and/or firewall configurations
& L5 V7 E% r, s' X( y( L' q. v: V: N, h
3 r3 X: ]. U2 R% `SKILL REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION:
' l, }% n  V6 O; q! B9 {• 5 – 8 years hands-on IT experience
; H/ X% e& p) p- j" V' k8 Y( c: M• Excellent written and verbal skills
  m8 L% k9 q5 ?6 P) q• Ability to work in a team environment
• Excellent organization skills with detail AND accuracy
! E, R3 Q% _+ U& m; _• Excellent documentation skills with detail AND accuracy
• Certification should include some or all of the following:
   o Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP)
; G8 ?: }, n- B   o Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
   o Cisco Certified Internetworking Professional (CCIP)
   o Cisco Certified Security Professional (CCSP)
   o Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (Windows 2000 or Windows 2003)
   o Citrix Certified Enterprise Administrator (CCEA)
* B/ X1 I  g+ W3 M# A3 ^1 y   o Any other professional certification designations are a bonus
• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple medium sized projects
• Ability to understand and deliver high quality customer service
• Advanced TCP/IP and internetworking protocol knowledge
• Experience in IT operations and an actively contributing team member in project based work
' x& a% a$ [% E; ~- a! e9 c! q7 q• Advanced technical and hands-on expertise in Microsoft Windows-based migration projects in 800-1500 seat size of multiple domain, sites, and active directory.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Group Policy, DFS, Windows Security, Virtual Server, SharePoint Server, Exchange Server 5.5, 2000, and 2005

• A valid Alberta driver’s license is mandatory
