& I% c8 e) q$ q. c. dCalgary police have now laid charges against an 18-year-old Calgary woman following the death of a little girl at a crosswalk in the city's northwest.
Police Sgt. Doug McIlwraith said Tuesday that Angela Ta has been charged with passing a motor vehicle stopped for a pedestrian at a crosswalk, failing to yield at a crosswalk, and careless driving.
* b- l9 N  ^, S! c$ ZMcIlwraith says the charges could mean a licence suspension, a $2,000 fine or six months in jail.
Six-year-old Jenna Chang and her mother, Ye Qiao, were struck Jan. 18 by a black BMW while using a marked crosswalk at 32 Avenue and 37 Street N.W.
% {9 I1 E4 x( V% WChang died of her injuries. Her mother is recovering in hospital.

这里故意杀人判的也比较轻啊， 何况她算过失杀人。西方法律普遍量刑轻

没有谁会去故意开车撞人的。但她违背了交通规则，却致人于死命。
