Canada North Camps Inc. (14238 – 134 Avenue, Edmonton, AB T5L 5V8) is looking to hire a full-time Cook who could be responsible for preparing and serving a wide variety of food items while maintaining a clean and safe work environment adding to an all-around pleasant dining experience for our customers.
Duties:
5 ?5 L1 j0 M, D& C2 r3 ]- L- Prepare sandwiches, salad bar and other high quality meals
- ~5 Z# C. u! [, [: Q- E- Supervise kitchen staff
! c  ^5 o3 j" |! V/ J; ?$ k- Ensure kitchen staff follow company safety practices
- Plan menus, estimate food costs, order supplies
  i6 z  _, {$ r% s& e, x- Manage kitchen operations
- L& E2 _, P  K  y6 o: d5 E- Maintain acceptable levels of food production
- Work night shifts, as necessary

- Completion of college or other program in cooking is mandatory. Associate or Bachelor’s degree in restaurant / hospitality/ culinary arts is considered an asset.
- Minimum 2 years of previous experience as Cook in a fast-paced environment is mandatory.
) T4 T: |: k) s% F6 y' i' U- Good proficiency in English.
- Highly organized.
This is a contract, full-time position.
Working hours: 10 hours per day, 70 hours per week.
Working schedule: 21 days on and 7 days off.
Salary: $160.00 per day. After 3 months of employment, medical, dental, disability and pension plan benefits will be available.
