Canada North Camps Inc. (14238 – 134 Avenue, Edmonton, AB T5L 5V8) is looking to hire a full-time Cook who could be responsible for preparing and serving a wide variety of food items while maintaining a clean and safe work environment adding to an all-around pleasant dining experience for our customers.
Duties:
& K' K* A! n0 r( V9 ?- Prepare sandwiches, salad bar and other high quality meals
- Supervise kitchen staff
- Ensure kitchen staff follow company safety practices
: d2 i" i0 ~2 m$ i- Plan menus, estimate food costs, order supplies
- Manage kitchen operations
- Maintain acceptable levels of food production
. [: w2 _0 I& A9 j- Work night shifts, as necessary
0 i' N! M/ o  hRequirements:
- Completion of college or other program in cooking is mandatory. Associate or Bachelor’s degree in restaurant / hospitality/ culinary arts is considered an asset.
- Minimum 2 years of previous experience as Cook in a fast-paced environment is mandatory.

! O$ O5 Z) o' p  @& p- Highly organized.
This is a contract, full-time position.
Working hours: 10 hours per day, 70 hours per week.
Working schedule: 21 days on and 7 days off.
2 s+ L1 U" _, G+ E% SSalary: $160.00 per day. After 3 months of employment, medical, dental, disability and pension plan benefits will be available.
