Canada North Camps Inc. (14238 – 134 Avenue, Edmonton, AB T5L 5V8) is looking to hire a full-time Cook who could be responsible for preparing and serving a wide variety of food items while maintaining a clean and safe work environment adding to an all-around pleasant dining experience for our customers.
Duties:
' m, t2 D0 R3 J5 X) M- Prepare sandwiches, salad bar and other high quality meals
- Supervise kitchen staff
1 ^5 N1 Q" _- N2 z) D. ?2 w( w- Ensure kitchen staff follow company safety practices
3 P! |0 ?9 _8 z( i- Plan menus, estimate food costs, order supplies
% Q& N' a" x1 v( k7 k* a7 J- Manage kitchen operations
; M- \: y- M' I5 C3 S- Maintain acceptable levels of food production
- Work night shifts, as necessary
Requirements:
- Completion of college or other program in cooking is mandatory. Associate or Bachelor’s degree in restaurant / hospitality/ culinary arts is considered an asset.
- Minimum 2 years of previous experience as Cook in a fast-paced environment is mandatory.

- Highly organized.
This is a contract, full-time position.
Working hours: 10 hours per day, 70 hours per week.
