Canada North Camps Inc. (14238 – 134 Avenue, Edmonton, AB T5L 5V8) is looking to hire a full-time Cook who could be responsible for preparing and serving a wide variety of food items while maintaining a clean and safe work environment adding to an all-around pleasant dining experience for our customers.
Duties:
9 [3 H" V& b6 }9 }1 K  f- Prepare sandwiches, salad bar and other high quality meals
7 d$ {' D7 k! ^+ g- Supervise kitchen staff
- Ensure kitchen staff follow company safety practices
$ S) i$ [0 O2 H* w, A- Plan menus, estimate food costs, order supplies
; ]% B7 t- u  t. H0 l# ?8 \- Manage kitchen operations
- Maintain acceptable levels of food production
- Work night shifts, as necessary
( s/ I0 m7 y- u  I, \+ SRequirements:
- Completion of college or other program in cooking is mandatory. Associate or Bachelor’s degree in restaurant / hospitality/ culinary arts is considered an asset.
- Minimum 2 years of previous experience as Cook in a fast-paced environment is mandatory.
- Good proficiency in English.

This is a contract, full-time position.
Working hours: 10 hours per day, 70 hours per week.
Working schedule: 21 days on and 7 days off.
