Yong Qiang Chartered Accountant is a small public practice accounting firm that serves the clients in Edmonton and surrounding areas. We provide accounting, tax, and other services for small sized businesses.

After 5 years’ development, we are expanding our operation with the acquisition of new office location. We are a firm that provide flexibility and work-life balance. We are a paperless office and believe a technology lead to high quality and outstanding service for our clients.
We are looking for a part time Accountant who can represent our firm by communicating with our clients while performing general accounting duties. You will develop your skills by working on a wide range of assignments. The main tasks will include but not limited to the following:
3 u. H& l' _( q, W# o" Q! ^•        Perform Full cycle bookkeeping duties (AP, AR, Bank reconciliations, etc.)
•        Prepare CaseWare working paper files,
•        Prepare financial statements
•        Prepare corporate tax returns
3 z" a/ ^+ t- t•        File GST returns
•        Process payroll
0 U2 X+ ?* b  e* ]& z  Q$ {•        File T4/T5 returns
•        Prepare personal tax returns
* F$ c5 J7 U4 W# e0 g) ]- V•        Communication with our clients and government agencies
; U3 N; F. Y4 g0 v& @/ Z
The position requires prior public practice accounting experience, proficiency in Caseware, profile, Quickbooks, Sage 50, and Excel.

/ K0 r, p* N! y8 ^Consideration will be given to the candidate who possess strong organization skills, have the ability to multi-task, and meet deadlines under pressure. Designation is preferred but not required.

我不是找工作的，自己有想过读书读这个专业，只是想了解一下这行。

不要读这个专业，除非你有背景或者以后会接手/经营自己的business

8 t0 [1 q5 I+ N' D/ |* P这个专业的新手一捞一大把，供大大高于求，但是这个专业到了中级就比较容易了，缺点是薪水太低，一直到了高级或者是designated就不同了，供小于求，在招工的网站，大部分要求designation的工作都要放好久才被拿下来，这个门槛卡住好多好多人。。。。
