Plan and direct food preparation and culinary activities
Modify menus or create new ones that meet quality standards
Estimate food requirements and food/labor costs
Supervise kitchen staff’s activities
3 X6 Y% Z* U# S, [9 `# a  v# _Arrange for equipment purchases and repairs
Recruit and manage kitchen staff
6 O* M7 @! n  G" ?  iRectify arising problems or complaints
Give prepared plates the “final touch”
$ {" N& F3 W! a1 mPerform administrative duties
Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards

! ]1 ~- N0 C% I$ N& _3 ^7 fMaintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers

Excellent record of kitchen management
Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently

Communication and leadership skills

9 x! m+ H5 x9 _6 s5 O6 Z5 A( v! IWorking knowledge of various computer software programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS)
