1 X7 q$ x5 X: S  d0 |! B8 x* APlan and direct food preparation and culinary activities
0 g  {: d# @9 _' ~Modify menus or create new ones that meet quality standards
Estimate food requirements and food/labor costs
2 O2 C9 ]& i0 D) r  Y* ]Supervise kitchen staff’s activities
  |! M/ S3 ?  ?, f  oArrange for equipment purchases and repairs
1 [3 j. B5 u% H7 v" BRecruit and manage kitchen staff
' Y9 v0 J/ g+ ^, ~' _2 BRectify arising problems or complaints
Give prepared plates the “final touch”
Perform administrative duties

Keep time and payroll records
Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers

Excellent record of kitchen management

Keep up with cooking trends and best practices
Working knowledge of various computer software programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS)
& d! \8 O6 c! I5 RBS degree in Culinary science or related certificate
