POSITION: Junior Accountant

DUTIES:

• Answering to the Company Controller, the candidate will assist with invoicing, payables, cash receipts and disbursements, account reconciliation, and G/L entries.# F# k) s5 y5 X4 g& A: o& Q: ?; S
• Candidate will also be responsible for filing, verifying vendor invoices, and various reporting tasks as required.
( K0 z0 x8 z0 H, ^• Candidate will communicate between various departments, including sales, logistics and production to ensure that operations are running as cost-effectively as possible
2 g) Y2 x8 _6 ^+ `5 k8 W- W; g ~• Various administrative and order processing duties as required.

8 O: J9 Y4 n: O6 S. |) a, \! E• Minimum 1-year of experience in Accounting or Accounts Receivable/Payable role
# t, i z0 J3 T4 Q' P! f• Post-secondary degree or diploma in an Accounting or Finance related field of study
% G0 c8 W Z. e/ n. J S r7 k• Aggressive self-starter with excellent organizational and time-management skills- j+ J6 b1 L# K% J! |
• Must be highly detail oriented with strong grasp of numbers
& [2 W; m' K$ y( d# l) T• Strong computer skills (word processing, spreadsheets, e-mail, data entry)
