POSITION: Junior Accountant

7 J6 Y& U, W8 q5 t1 }0 |; s• Answering to the Company Controller, the candidate will assist with invoicing, payables, cash receipts and disbursements, account reconciliation, and G/L entries.3 B6 f4 Y- I) B
• Candidate will also be responsible for filing, verifying vendor invoices, and various reporting tasks as required.! M d0 i1 D% Q8 z7 c) l
• Candidate will communicate between various departments, including sales, logistics and production to ensure that operations are running as cost-effectively as possible" v3 }$ s* I8 A0 u3 A9 r
• Various administrative and order processing duties as required.% l/ j0 M1 ?. z( R. |7 {

REQUIREMENTS:7 s& V# H: K; w
! j2 h/ `4 V1 y0 ^* {$ D* v" P• Minimum 1-year of experience in Accounting or Accounts Receivable/Payable role
9 i2 ^8 @, b: N- @* n• Post-secondary degree or diploma in an Accounting or Finance related field of study
& f: A6 c- S" M2 F, a7 A6 o/ L, f• Aggressive self-starter with excellent organizational and time-management skills
: B" D/ X+ y |6 y3 I, l1 L• Must be highly detail oriented with strong grasp of numbers. L% ~7 o5 n r1 i1 v
• Strong computer skills (word processing, spreadsheets, e-mail, data entry)
