Police have named the man who died in Monday’s crash north of Fort McMurray on Highway 63.
. i' T: u9 m5 `9 K U8 T. l8 _Alan Alexander Wong, 23, died from injuries resulting from the early-morning head-on collision. Wong lived in Fort McMurray, but his family is from British Columbia, police said earlier this week.$ J& m# m1 |6 O; z, N7 a
$ K- _1 ]0 ^, b6 @/ d! e
The crash happened when Wong, heading south in a small Mazda car, lost control due to weather and road conditions and hit a gravel truck and tractor unit. Both vehicles ended up in the ditch.- u/ \. a7 b2 S& ^9 j$ c
The driver of the truck was not injured. Police said Tuesday they did not expect to lay charges. |
