EDMONTON - One person is dead after a vehicle crashed early Friday into the South Edmonton Common Walmart.8 k6 }6 V/ J) y& E( E5 C

The vehicle burst into flames.

/ q5 j8 F, |4 G# [- IPolice and fire crews responded to the crash at the at 1203 Parsons Road, just after 2 a.m. Police said the vehicle struck the wall of the Walmart garden centre.* l: U1 J9 C/ m7 a

Police have not confirmed the person’s age or gender.

The fire was quickly under control, but the heat set off the sprinklers inside the store, forcing the night staff to flee.
