留学生可以为孩子申请Alberta child health benefit吗？

6 d  z( d* e' K+ g- ^5 B% l/ {如果真的是这样，那我可能真的被忽悠瘸了……去年我儿子在Grey Nuns出生的时候，“牛奶金”就被拒了,打电话理论不成，最后把PR卡传真给他才批下来……可怜我当年Jason Lang的奖学金被拒了三次，去找他们，说我是留学生，不算Alberta Resident, 政府和大学也太坑人啦！

楼主申请的是低收入家庭的福利 不是牛奶金 所以答案不一

To be eligible, you must meet all the following conditions:
•you must live with the child, and the child must be under the age of 18;

•you must be a resident of Canada; and
•you or your spouse or common-law partner must be a Canadian citizen, a permanent resident, a protected person, or a temporary resident who has lived in Canada for the previous 18 months, and who has a valid permit in the 19th month.

+ o+ n' j; U4 p% u4 u满足以上全部条件，最后一条是：你或者你的配偶或者同居者必须是公民或者永久居民， 或者受保护者或者在爱省居住时间超过18个月或者你的居住许可到达19个月。看看自己的签证，上面的时间。19个月以上是可以的。

楼主申请的是健康福利，直接在学校保险里面里面加入就可以了，孩子就可以享受和你一样的医疗保险。和我们民间说的牛奶金是不同的，牛奶金是CCTB=Canada Child Tax Benefit，是报税者所得的福利。自己报税，人家寄表格给你填，然后就得到的。

换句话说，只要你满足4点中的前三点，而且你在加拿大住了1年半，接下来还能合法的住，你就有Canada Child Tax Benefit。不需要公民或者PR

肯定可以，我朋友跟你情况一样，孩子在国内出生，现在在领 benefit。但他要求孩子必须在这连续住满18个月。
