EDMONTON — The West Edmonton Mall has reopened after police investigated a suspicious package Tuesday morning.) E! E; u; M; i1 s+ s; r
" C3 X- H j/ S: ~% \2 V6 vThe item, which turned out to be a DVD player, was reported to police just after 8:30 a.m. and officers swooped in to shut down entrances to the shopping centre.2 \5 |9 g8 \' W- d
) [! L' s y7 c" hPolice evacuated the mall, and a short time later determined the package was merely a DVD player left on a bench outside the SportCheck store. A- q! @" e5 J
