Your job responsibilities will include:
•Check payroll time cards, production chits and other paperwork, calculate production time. Key data into system and transmit to Nethris for processing.
0 C8 x9 p  p! f/ {( b8 S•Prepare monthly payroll journal entries for capturing labour and fringe benefit costs
•Prepare monthly safety and statistical reports for management.
) ]1 O( M0 Z- d7 y4 e  i7 }( j•Prepare payment requisitions for group insurance, RRSP, etc. as agreed upon by the union contract
) V3 A, `4 v4 w7 b6 i•Coordinate work related accident and group insurance claims.
, c6 g9 a! f' w, @% b7 Q•Perform AP Invoice matching
  p$ O8 g; v! @9 H5 L) E•Prepare month-end AP accrual

The ideal candidate will have excellent Excel skills and 3-5 years of payroll experience in a JIT manufacturing company. Exposure to the payroll system of Datatrack/Nethris would be a definite asset. Experience with union payroll will be an asset. Need to be able to speak fluent English, has advance reading and writing skills.
