Your job responsibilities will include:
•Check payroll time cards, production chits and other paperwork, calculate production time. Key data into system and transmit to Nethris for processing.
. E. T9 Y  H: \3 o•Prepare monthly payroll journal entries for capturing labour and fringe benefit costs
•Prepare monthly safety and statistical reports for management.
& J7 L" R/ K. k1 p0 y•Prepare payment requisitions for group insurance, RRSP, etc. as agreed upon by the union contract
) S, x/ O7 @$ c8 Y! L•Coordinate work related accident and group insurance claims.

•Prepare month-end AP accrual

5 O6 ?4 H# X8 P- Q8 i' P- u' XThe ideal candidate will have excellent Excel skills and 3-5 years of payroll experience in a JIT manufacturing company. Exposure to the payroll system of Datatrack/Nethris would be a definite asset. Experience with union payroll will be an asset. Need to be able to speak fluent English, has advance reading and writing skills.
