Plant Payroll/AP

North West Edmonton

Your job responsibilities will include:
" ~5 p$ ?6 |( f) t) t3 ?& W- E•Check payroll time cards, production chits and other paperwork, calculate production time. Key data into system and transmit to Nethris for processing.
  w! t) f4 F/ x0 `•Prepare monthly payroll journal entries for capturing labour and fringe benefit costs
2 F/ D' E) n) ]( K8 V•Prepare monthly safety and statistical reports for management.
1 ~$ P8 y* c8 \2 c, L•Prepare payment requisitions for group insurance, RRSP, etc. as agreed upon by the union contract
8 @- g  j2 t2 p; L# P•Coordinate work related accident and group insurance claims.
) [+ t8 O5 a. z( n1 i•Perform AP Invoice matching
3 l6 y3 U- j6 o1 u  I9 F  i4 ]•Prepare month-end AP accrual

The ideal candidate will have excellent Excel skills and 3-5 years of payroll experience in a JIT manufacturing company. Exposure to the payroll system of Datatrack/Nethris would be a definite asset. Experience with union payroll will be an asset. Need to be able to speak fluent English, has advance reading and writing skills.
