Shut down the hot water tank by closing the temperature switch to off; , F% r3 J, S" ~) Q* ^- VOpen the drain valve at the bottom to drain all the water out; ! D0 D: R/ @) Q7 b g! D YThen remove the expansion valve, go to home or Canadian tire. they all have one.+ z3 C+ M3 e: P0 z5 O

The drain hose is supposed to have water go thorough the humidifier filter inside the housing and then goes to drain when furnace is on. + G) U1 Y/ [9 k1 J U; l* Z) W$ q& P3 Z
