We have few machines from china and used here in Canada after some modifications done. I believe most appliances in China can be used here too in Canada if you check the followings:# P' b- W6 C" {! h; G& Q5 G

1. check the neutral wire to see if it is bonded to appliance frame or metal part by using mega meter or check the internal wiring.

) m$ q. [3 z3 y/ Y# L* ANormal the neutral wire to the appliance used in China is not connected the ground or bonded to the metal frame. anyway have to check out.- z; W) h( [- r# x, R6 F. B1 \

2. Check the full load A for the size of the wire used, it may need to change out the wire and replace plug.

' Z% r, g! e2 V" R; m) W8 @! z3 Voltage in China is 220V. Here is two phase supposed of 240V (most time less than 230V). Less than 10% is not a big issue. but still have to check out the size and insulation of the wire.' O W3 a. i5 ?' {! P
7 J( V$ Z/ L4 `- {) d4.Frequency in china is 50Hz and here is 60Hz, if there is a motor inside, the efficiency is not so great any more and could be overheated. Normally it is ok if it has proper over load protection device. |
