Really want to save some gas money you may have to check the followings:
- x/ J% O/ n/ a0 |1. The thermostat settings. Set the temperature as low as you still feel ok. say 16 degree?
7 ]* \! c$ L# z. _2. Close the vents near the entrance door and garage door, vents in the bathrooms.  
3. Check the on/off cycle of the furnace, and flame of the furnace to make sure the furnace burns efficiently . ( need a professional people to look after)
