   Glass Worker – (Manufacturing Plant 1, Edmonton)

Operations include manufacturing plants located in Edmonton and Mississauga and sales branches/offices in Vancouver, Kelowna, Edmonton, Calgary, Lethbridge, Red Deer, Saskatoon, Regina, Winnipeg, Mississauga and Atlantic Canada.

' M( s: b7 N! d6 w8 \* D, C8 j5 Y We are currently recruiting for Glass Workers for our Edmonton Manufacturing Plant.

* ^' N+ U- R/ p. E8 X7 R3 \4 g2 B  q The successful candidate will be reliable, safety-focused and able to work well with others.
1 R4 s% I4 s0 h: K% A4 D+ I& W( j/ R2 I
5 F# q1 w) j2 E6 q) h, oResponsibilities will include:
/ }  P6 g( t, d: t•Lift single piece of glass between 5-30 Ibs.
& x7 W0 o% `( Y! v, M9 }. N•Understand quality issues of glass: quality of glass edge, proper technique when pulling glass out of harp rack slots, scratches, defects, etc.
3 V7 ~, C) W$ D4 Y7 g3 G" r# I! K•Fill and empty washer tanks and keep tanks clean
•Follow proper pattern and placement of glass
3 \. m5 R+ k& R( p# ?: g•Keep work area clean.
•Keep up good pace to keep line moving.

Primary Qualifications Required:
•Basic English communication skills
•Able to read a metric tape measure and use hand and power tools
0 ^6 ?4 i6 H0 g4 s2 b) p: J•Good eye sight.
•Able to lift up to 50 lbs
•Ability to work under constant pressure

Status of position:

•Check Units to pass Quality Expectation

•Move Racks of sealed units to designated lines
