I have been looking into Windermere.: A8 S- r" @' J; b) S# d8 A9 L2 M
My personal opinion, Ambleside South is the worst of all Windermere sub-area.

As you said, traffic is an issue, you can only take either Ellerslie Road or 170 St.
) q0 Z- b9 w6 u# k6 I) p$ LJust Ellerslie is serving many sub-areas, Glenridding, Graydon Hill, Kerwick, Ambleside South.
1 q2 s( S, ^; g) t2 OThe City just did some upgrade to the road, and I am not sure if there is plan to expand into two lanes.
! Z' s9 k& p$ c) U1 h" r" A3 M; `0 `- M+ n+ p- i) Y: e* H* Z
Some people already mentioned here, AS is very crowded.

What type of housing you are looking for?
' {4 y# ^2 p) m# h6 hThat area is full of duplex and rear lane houses, 100% sure parking will be an issue.
