For 6 old kid, put the kid into daycamp, should around $200 a week. most daycamp begin from 8:30pm to 5:00pm. If you cannot drop and pick, find a parent or several parents in the same daycamp, to split the drop and pick task.
Hiring a nanny will be too expensive, and the kid will be bored for the 2 months. Worse, how you know the nanny does not TV-sit the kid all day long?
