This option is automatically included for all applicants up to age 59, and can be purchased for ages 60 to 85 (provided the applicant is eligible)./ a# N( N2 M0 @7 X* Y; q' w
When the option is included or purchased, exclusion 1 in the policy is modified such that, after any applicable waiting period, a stable chronic7 `; n n) h( q
condition (as defined) is covered under the policy.
“Stable Chronic Condition” means: a condition which is under treatment and which has been controlled by consistent use of medication prescribed by a “physician”; and # i: }9 n; b* A: h% K$ W• there have been no new symptoms or change in symptoms; and/or ; v/ o5 F1 \$ n+ y( }" Q• there has been no “hospitalization”or change in treatment, medication or dosage in the 180 days prior to the “effective date” of this policy. * R7 Q# S& z H' f* pIf “your” “physician” has determined that “your” health condition has improved and changes “your” treatment or medication or its dosages due to “your” improved health condition, this does not constitute a change.
