买房的免税额度

去年买了房子,听说可以在报税的时候有7500的免税额度,不知道是不是真的。请问可以随便报在夫妻哪边吗?

You can claim an amount of $5,000 for the purchase of a qualifying home made in 2013, if both of the following apply:
1 U9 M# M' I' p9 e•you or your spouse or common-law partner acquired a qualifying home; and
- p+ k4 p  J% p' A•you did not live in another home owned by you or your spouse or common-law partner in the year of acquisition or in any of the four preceding years (first-time home buyer).) l0 m' k  [4 I, q
So the non-refundable tax credit is up to $750.

这样看似乎免税额度是 5000 不是7500?是必须买新房,还是买的二手房也算啊。

A share in a co-operative housing corporation that entitles you to own and gives you an equity interest in a housing unit located in Canada also qualifies. However, a share that only gives you the right to tenancy in the housing unit does not qualify.. Q: m( F- c3 f

在税表的Schedule 1 - Line 369行填上5000,折合成tax credit =5000*15%=750. 就是把你的交税额减去$750. & w2 b& a& I4 h% \% \3 o' l

' k, Y) I0 X! Q  r2 OThe claim can be split between you and your spouse or common-law partner, but the combined total cannot exceed $5,000.4 q: W& ^# ~1 _( V
: g! y" |# i1 e+ g! V
When more than one individual is entitled to the amount (for example, when two people jointly buy a home), the total of all amounts claimed cannot exceed $5,000.. m4 F3 t9 \9 C: a7 f0 P
