买房的免税额度

去年买了房子,听说可以在报税的时候有7500的免税额度,不知道是不是真的。请问可以随便报在夫妻哪边吗?

You can claim an amount of $5,000 for the purchase of a qualifying home made in 2013, if both of the following apply:
* {0 `9 N6 S6 g5 W0 k•you or your spouse or common-law partner acquired a qualifying home; and
$ S6 M6 }9 u( g: [2 _1 z* Y•you did not live in another home owned by you or your spouse or common-law partner in the year of acquisition or in any of the four preceding years (first-time home buyer).: b3 R; J; c( Z) F6 C1 w7 @5 C
So the non-refundable tax credit is up to $750.

这样看似乎免税额度是 5000 不是7500?是必须买新房,还是买的二手房也算啊。

/ ?5 G$ G; g( \3 h, S; B2 c3 J在税表的Schedule 1 - Line 369行填上5000,折合成tax credit =5000*15%=750. 就是把你的交税额减去$750.
9 O0 B: [1 w/ ~4 T; y5 @# ?1 _5 x3 `
The claim can be split between you and your spouse or common-law partner, but the combined total cannot exceed $5,000.
) W& f. u3 c$ K1 L, l
  j0 U: k$ u" F( d* o3 @1 \When more than one individual is entitled to the amount (for example, when two people jointly buy a home), the total of all amounts claimed cannot exceed $5,000.
