JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Support capital projects and network build activity with coordination, installation, and commissioning duties • Respond to corrective network problems, performing effective/efficient problem analysis, rapid troubleshooting diagnosis and prompt repair of equipment to ensure service restoral objectives are met.

4 e; @4 n8 e& v• Coordinate with other Technicians and departments as required to obtain maintain service levels.

3 C- E9 Q2 t: A6 h6 z1 z. G• Plan for and implement preventive maintenance routines to ensure network standards of performance are met.

• Perform cutovers and upgrades on the network as directed by work orders.

• Maintain "up-to-date" site documentation as outlined by the EWO initiative.

* T% K1 O8 N& c3 x8 {- [• Perform acceptance tests on newly installed sites and equipment to ensure results meet design specifications.

3 |, b3 Z6 C* K6 F3 ]* |5 J% G• Microwave and Transmission experience (e.g. DS1, DS2 ,DS3, OC3, OC12, IP) • Gain in depth knowledge of key quality service indicators in geographic area of responsibility.

% t1 W8 f; c: z6 h4 M2 t• Optical Fiber, SONET and knowledge of TCP/IP • Participate in retune activities associated with network optimization and build activities.

• Maintain inventory of required parts and perform regular audits to ensure availability of parts.

• Administrative reporting of Mileage, Timesheet, Expenses, Equipment and Deficiency ticket updates etc.

+ E- m+ Y- f: z, X( l% V1 e; D& L• Test hand-offs, RSSI, transmit level on mobiles, dropped calls and investigate any changes.

• Document activities for future assessment analysis.

( C, O; o: t/ U  |• Maintain current documentation of site status, complete trouble tickets, incident report and other required reports.

• Shift work, overtime, and 24 hour on-call support may be required on a regular rotational basis.

# Y* V6 H/ ~' t• 5 years of telecommunications experience.

* Y4 U7 W" d- w/ B• Diploma or Certificate in Electronics from a technical institute.

; h: e# h& z7 p2 z: R• Ability to work with minimal supervision.

• Demonstrated investigative, problem solving, analysis and troubleshooting skills.

• Standby, overtime and shift work is required.

-Telecom Diploma with at least 2 years of post secondary education -Experience working at a cell site -Must be willing to travel around Alberta (expenses will be reimbursed) -Experience with Spectrum Analyzers, Internet Protocol Analyzers, RFC testing and Microwave testing *The manager is not looking for Engineers.

*The contractor will not be required to do any climbing This is for a large LTE Expansion in Alberta.

; @: t5 l% [* O4 SThe right fit for the team would be someone who enjoys hunting and fishing on the weekend. If the individual fits the manager will hire fulltime.
