Orientation 2006: The Action Starts Here! Your registration in the University of

(MUGs) Program; you have been signed-up for the 2006-2007 school year. By

to find your check in location all by yourself, there will be hundreds ' Z W) h% G3 @- @2 _
of volunteers ready to help you when you get to campus. Specifically
+ S2 U7 f5 }4 Z; m! o/ ]/ Slook for the volunteers in bright colored t-shirts, as they have a wealth
0 ?, x, g2 F$ I, ^. f9 Zof directional information.8 O% T1 e6 F( j% |% t9 t. P
/ g) {" B+ H. h, j8 TBoth days run on a similar schedule, from 9:30am to 6pm, with evening
- r! ~. e* t* F$ @( |2 Sactivities planned for both days. Throughout the 2 days you will attend
$ g+ W3 P7 \: ?# e n ?a variety of sessions crucial to your success at the U of A. On Tuesday
9 \! o7 ^+ Y4 X, S5 R& P! c2 Oevening we host our highlight event, the President's Address, in
9 g! J, U& i2 o6 zHawrelak Park.+ t" h* x. a' p9 n
- u2 K$ M8 h& e8 o: eYou will also meet your MUG Leader and the rest of your MUG group on ' c. s# f8 w' A- |0 u5 C% a& D" G# ~* q
September 4th, with whom you will spend the two days at Orientation 2006, 3 z, f+ j5 K6 P2 c: u
and then continue to meet with for the entire year./ A( K* D7 v. D/ c' i
& f0 v0 F2 A K8 n4 Y# a3 m6 UBoth MUGs and Orientation 2006 will provide many opportunities for you ! T1 E/ X4 y; Y' D
to get all of your questions answered and to meet other students from
3 @' Z! n9 z7 H4 Gyour faculty. Among other things, you are scheduled to receive your 2 z! W$ U% H. M: X
ONECard on one of the two days of Orientation 2006. To be able to process
: ]# o: o; t3 Q) ^% b- cyour ONECard, you will need to bring your acceptance letter and a piece 3 x6 O0 `0 ]4 {/ f4 I
of government-issued photo ID. You will also need to bring your Campus : p2 Q) E. K( K* L2 j- z
Computing ID (CCID), which was sent by e-mail from AICT (Academic " a2 p( K; K3 d" ^; T3 D
Information and Communications Technologies). Dress for the weather and ; @8 z) T+ u+ b9 C7 S
bring either money or food for up to four meals (lunch and dinner for the 0 @/ b) F) T+ \9 w* H2 ^ b
two days of Orientation).
