(MUGs) Program; you have been signed-up for the 2006-2007 school year. By . l6 S1 I- b& F7 [
attending both Orientation and MUGs, you will receive a great deal of / y, j; }5 P2 G+ M
information that will make your transition to the University community % ]' k' `% l; Z; C" S/ p0 C

September 4th, 2006. Check in is at 9:30am on September 4th. Your check

of volunteers ready to help you when you get to campus. Specifically . h! F$ f0 d1 `1 S, s. e3 p
look for the volunteers in bright colored t-shirts, as they have a wealth : q* u7 G: V" _ Y, G& G

Both days run on a similar schedule, from 9:30am to 6pm, with evening % S0 m+ d% d! h: m# `# R" e
activities planned for both days. Throughout the 2 days you will attend
1 {, _0 U0 b' e7 ^! v- y; ma variety of sessions crucial to your success at the U of A. On Tuesday 6 l/ s6 v/ Z3 |. w5 H" }
evening we host our highlight event, the President's Address, in
8 e- o& {5 B9 l, Z; E! t$ ?9 n& T& HHawrelak Park.

You will also meet your MUG Leader and the rest of your MUG group on
) o& V7 m) }- i8 S. \September 4th, with whom you will spend the two days at Orientation 2006, 8 s+ c; O% ~, u. e
and then continue to meet with for the entire year.

Both MUGs and Orientation 2006 will provide many opportunities for you
4 {0 t: U) v. l. }/ Lto get all of your questions answered and to meet other students from
t* s, H( U0 yyour faculty. Among other things, you are scheduled to receive your ) P& K" B8 w l8 J# ~/ |& x' z- }" s9 W
ONECard on one of the two days of Orientation 2006. To be able to process
6 V6 N6 J D! @4 |your ONECard, you will need to bring your acceptance letter and a piece
2 |3 ~8 ?2 N1 E& Sof government-issued photo ID. You will also need to bring your Campus
" Q+ j9 ^4 w/ p6 D1 I9 P% uComputing ID (CCID), which was sent by e-mail from AICT (Academic % Q" Z( J- n/ s3 v) i
Information and Communications Technologies). Dress for the weather and 1 U# w$ q# e& d, w% _. K; q5 e
bring either money or food for up to four meals (lunch and dinner for the - Z. Z' k' ^" f, z% |, H
