(MUGs) Program; you have been signed-up for the 2006-2007 school year. By + I( ~+ Y1 k0 t. ^4 {* W/ P
attending both Orientation and MUGs, you will receive a great deal of 9 h" ~: k7 ~7 a
information that will make your transition to the University community ( U! i" v9 j% U2 t

to find your check in location all by yourself, there will be hundreds

look for the volunteers in bright colored t-shirts, as they have a wealth

Both days run on a similar schedule, from 9:30am to 6pm, with evening
' R- N/ x: B h) t! V- k0 D' Qactivities planned for both days. Throughout the 2 days you will attend % \. v( {- \5 O; b$ R$ J9 U
a variety of sessions crucial to your success at the U of A. On Tuesday
" X; w5 v! D$ v1 h% d# t1 b5 Revening we host our highlight event, the President's Address, in
3 O$ R! ] i1 H' D$ u8 v0 nHawrelak Park.+ q' g- I2 L9 i' ?: d6 B' J% ^) b
/ t# t* J& w8 i7 C ?2 ?You will also meet your MUG Leader and the rest of your MUG group on
2 P3 d, k# t; M# LSeptember 4th, with whom you will spend the two days at Orientation 2006, : l, Q3 u" p: ?( J d
and then continue to meet with for the entire year.& j; g" I- c0 W4 p t
& T0 b x1 b. V9 K2 `3 fBoth MUGs and Orientation 2006 will provide many opportunities for you
' q4 q2 D# w- Sto get all of your questions answered and to meet other students from
7 G+ ^ g. F$ r/ ~9 Iyour faculty. Among other things, you are scheduled to receive your
* S3 D5 P6 f( e* Z6 IONECard on one of the two days of Orientation 2006. To be able to process i$ l; Z3 S6 ~8 A9 w2 x- \
your ONECard, you will need to bring your acceptance letter and a piece $ A' `0 z" a. A- D
of government-issued photo ID. You will also need to bring your Campus ( K# }8 m. k/ O* e+ O
Computing ID (CCID), which was sent by e-mail from AICT (Academic [' y" N$ _3 L4 R9 t' d: J
Information and Communications Technologies). Dress for the weather and
3 b8 N" X @" d# C4 R% X+ ~3 cbring either money or food for up to four meals (lunch and dinner for the ! v/ H/ h! I: U& F6 P6 y2 D
