(MUGs) Program; you have been signed-up for the 2006-2007 school year. By

Orientation 2006 will be held on Monday, September 4th and Tuesday,

If you are unfamiliar with campus you can visit 8 }9 G0 z8 N+ t1 C$ E3 o

; D8 r1 i/ e( L G6 [" ^( n6 B& hto find your check in location all by yourself, there will be hundreds
& f, |: ~# X; e/ _. ^of volunteers ready to help you when you get to campus. Specifically
# h# k9 u( S. \" C7 U! e' f; D0 rlook for the volunteers in bright colored t-shirts, as they have a wealth

Both days run on a similar schedule, from 9:30am to 6pm, with evening
6 n2 ]1 C- n( q8 v$ o0 [activities planned for both days. Throughout the 2 days you will attend
. ~, W9 B# H2 u4 ma variety of sessions crucial to your success at the U of A. On Tuesday
4 z' J. g; Z# m' R! z5 A% R X0 Pevening we host our highlight event, the President's Address, in ; ]5 w4 T4 u. ~ Q# Z. v
Hawrelak Park.

You will also meet your MUG Leader and the rest of your MUG group on 2 M5 O. W, |3 d( F- `6 @) C4 I
September 4th, with whom you will spend the two days at Orientation 2006, $ s7 S9 l/ _7 N
and then continue to meet with for the entire year.

Both MUGs and Orientation 2006 will provide many opportunities for you
6 o' X* w) @1 n. Q8 v" U0 _: Z$ T" @to get all of your questions answered and to meet other students from
0 V5 t$ Z' p9 u/ @# P/ w+ z2 ?your faculty. Among other things, you are scheduled to receive your y! R$ D* I6 D B+ `! T4 c/ ]
ONECard on one of the two days of Orientation 2006. To be able to process 7 u. \4 D8 o3 I- q" B4 |: T8 v
your ONECard, you will need to bring your acceptance letter and a piece
6 J- @5 ?& [1 s) V* Nof government-issued photo ID. You will also need to bring your Campus , F6 C; [/ n# Q; A
Computing ID (CCID), which was sent by e-mail from AICT (Academic 6 V' y7 ~6 Q2 B
Information and Communications Technologies). Dress for the weather and
' o4 e$ Y9 q# y" nbring either money or food for up to four meals (lunch and dinner for the $ M% e8 {3 Q/ p( ]. r! U0 T# }% W
two days of Orientation).5 A, _! k# O# K q* v; s% ^. v
