Position Summary:
To provide front-line customer service of Personal Lines policies and taking responsibility for the retention and account development of existing clients, quoting and placing new business as required.

* d3 u9 {8 A* ^$ `4 T2 p8 KPrimary Objective/Duties of position:
: \9 V$ T& u9 L9 e: X; I
+ O3 b+ f- H/ q+ @    Servicing on-going client needs, advising on insurance matters, conduct needs assessment, recommending solutions, answering inquiries, conduct care calls and process renewals
9 u% J0 V2 o& j% F. D    Selling new policies/writing new business to existing or new clients, retaining existing book of business
    Quoting new business through outbound call initiatives, introductory letters and receiving walk-in clients
- N# \& ~- s) C3 H2 ?/ U5 g: x+ y" l    Contacting Underwriters and Adjusters to discuss guidelines and policy
1 R) q0 B  i, Y4 C6 U7 t7 J    Preparing documentation for insurers, completing applications for clients, issuing insurance certificates, processing changes and reviewing renewals
    Keeping current on underwriting rules and workflow processes
- B! t0 H( H& {; B' k4 y0 W    Actively participate in training initiatives
( c7 E. F) u# a    Participate in community marketing initiatives

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

* }- n- @% i( ^) Q( E    High School and or Post Secondary Education
9 I: x+ J! V: N0 k* T- {- w' j    Previous customer service experience
    Previous sales experience an asset
    General Insurance License Level 1 or willing to obtain
    Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities successfully
    Strong analytical and organizational skills
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    Excellent customer services skills and adept in conflict resolution
