. ^ y* z4 j3 sOverall function of this position is to develop the East Asian customer base of the company. The purpose of the Business Development Rep is to drive new business in his/her territory, while maintaining profitable sales

Key Responsibilities:
( P) M# M, Q& D0 \" c+ E
• To initiate, follow up on and negotiate opportunities with potential customers for the intended purpose of ‘signing’ them as new business. This is measured through in-store customer sales. 
* ^. M1 q) `4 J# j# d1 o6 N
• To develop the customer base through cultivating leads & opportunities and be able to convert these into regular customers.

• To be accountable via daily sales call reporting in real time, measured against territory growth (non-tobacco store sales) vs. the previous year.

• To execute focused selling in a large territory targeting the food-service industry, maintenance calling on high volume KEY customers in foodservice, convenience stores, small businesses, clubs & organizations.

• To execute the division’s promotional and marketing programs in conjunction with the overall business plan. Accountability via customer buying activity during the period measured through store sales.

• To manage all aspects of customer inquiries leading to regular store visits, including initial store tours.

• To develop customer relationships with gold level customer base and industry organizations.

Job Qualifications
, A" v! j; |+ S0 u/ ~• Ability to speak English and Cantonese or Mandarin 
8 g# {( S* ]6 S c
• Proven experience meeting aggressive sales targets.
& {# o# Z" g; S( Z, A" E
• Minimum of 5 years of sales experience.
+ q) d2 h/ i: S, Z- i
• East Asian Food Service and/or Wholesale sales experience is desirable.
; Q( V4 q f* u+ s6 G
• Superior communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills.+ y7 x2 E" E% U# b2 u

• Travel within the assigned region.
