Overall function of this position is to develop the East Asian customer base of the company. The purpose of the Business Development Rep is to drive new business in his/her territory, while maintaining profitable sales7 L8 F2 q! S( C5 p) M. Z

Key Responsibilities:
1 g8 ^+ H9 R+ L$ i5 ]3 Q
• To initiate, follow up on and negotiate opportunities with potential customers for the intended purpose of ‘signing’ them as new business. This is measured through in-store customer sales. 

! }2 V3 }2 E3 g3 t6 j2 M• To develop the customer base through cultivating leads & opportunities and be able to convert these into regular customers.

* |7 \: H/ B, c/ A7 z/ }• To be accountable via daily sales call reporting in real time, measured against territory growth (non-tobacco store sales) vs. the previous year.8 L! |$ b9 ^5 f9 p# k

• To execute focused selling in a large territory targeting the food-service industry, maintenance calling on high volume KEY customers in foodservice, convenience stores, small businesses, clubs & organizations.
) L$ o/ G" c$ [& H+ _) `( p' |
• To execute the division’s promotional and marketing programs in conjunction with the overall business plan. Accountability via customer buying activity during the period measured through store sales.

• To manage all aspects of customer inquiries leading to regular store visits, including initial store tours.

• To develop customer relationships with gold level customer base and industry organizations.

: V# G: v8 z) d a5 T" r" H* K @• To build extensive product knowledge over various categories and be capable of driving sales in achieving sales & profit targets.

Job Qualifications
: F( N* B b+ V- c0 R• Ability to speak English and Cantonese or Mandarin 
3 s( B& Z& c$ V* B
• Proven experience meeting aggressive sales targets.
! X. g% n. e* v0 V
• Minimum of 5 years of sales experience.
; s/ H. Q0 c) N* I) I3 A# u# a9 h
• East Asian Food Service and/or Wholesale sales experience is desirable.

) @: c, ?& Z) G8 N/ l• Superior communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills.) l9 X; Q& Y" ]9 w

• Travel within the assigned region.

/ `6 d+ X% E6 d7 `" G4 Y5 D% @/ s• Comfortable using automated selling technology in a daily setting – Salesforce.com
