Reporting to the Team Lead for Drilling and completions, the Senior Drilling Engineer will perform all aspects of well design including; Casing and Tubing Design, Mud Systems, Fluid Hydraulics, Primary and Remedial Cementing, Specialized Technical Software for tubular design and effect improvements in drilling efficacy.; @6 y1 d' s5 p4 j+ G' n, ~

For each well, confirm casing/tubing stress analysis, mud/hydraulics programs, cementing program, collision avoidance criteria. L; g4 ]6 x9 ? l1 l! C- P
Prepare Drilling Program, Basis of Design, ADW and other special operations programs as required in the course of the operation + Z" q6 _( j/ G) q5 e
Steward to the recently implemented Well Delivery Model for Suncor including multi discipline peer reviews and post well reviews5 V& X8 W: o9 X4 q
Prepare End of Well Report which details cost analysis, operation analysis and provides recommendations for continuous improvement / ?+ r' o* s6 J4 m w: A
Prepare technical specifications to be used in tenders for materials, services and equipment used in the drilling operations 3 x6 a" l$ e( D3 p& |3 q
Stays abreast of current technology and Best Practices within and industry and recommend the application of new technology
6 C' w- r7 T$ l+ ?Prepare management of change for drilling programs as needed- X" S* ]+ F' `. K4 T' E
Communicate regularly with the cross discipline members of the NAO Team on progression, lessons learned cost and efficiency improvements as well as investigation on operational setbacks
